Emboldened by the Supreme Court’s refusal to intervene, fired Biden holdover Hampton Dellinger is now fighting to reinstate 5000+ probationary workers fired by the Trump Administration.
The Trump Administration recently fired thousands of probationary workers at the Department of Agriculture.
President Trump fired Hampton Dellinger, Special Counsel of the Office of Special Counsel (not to be confused with a special counsel hired as a federal prosecutor) a few weeks ago.
However, after several weeks of back-and-forth in the courts, corrupt Obama Judge Amy Berman Jackson ruled in favor of Hampton Dellinger on Saturday and entered a judgment declaring his firing illegal.
On Tuesday, Politico reported that Hampton Dellinger is now seeking to block Trump from firing thousands of probationary workers.
Politico reported:

They’re probationary.
It’s usually that you can be let go for any reason whatsoever.
I don’t see that anyone has any grounds for complaining, suing, or litigating.
The majority of cases (that have been resolved) have had the judges either siding with President Trump or reversing themselves and doing nothing.
On the particular issue in this thread several judges have admitted the Merit Protection Board has jurisdiction—see my earlier post on that.
Game. Set. Match.
This is much ado about nothing on this particular issue.
I agree. What are the Trump appointed Supreme Court Judges doing anyway? Get off your asses and stop this crap!
On this issue there is nothing for the Supreme Court to do.
The judges who have decided these cases have thrown up their hands and said they do not have jurisdiction.
I like the office of island stabilization. Gaum...
it’s just a office, no hvac, no electricity. Just a desk and chair. They have to move from one side of the office to the other to keep it from tipping over. No wheels on said chair either.
SCOTUS has a day set aside for releasing an opinion or two tomorrow. I have a good feeling that the termination of Hampton Dellinger will be one of them. Usually they reveal them, one at a time, beginning at 10:00 am EST. It will be interesting to see which, if any, Supreme Court Justices are present for the talk tonight.
This is speculation on my part, but just sensing that Roberts’ stay has run its course. I believe that SCOTUS will rule for the Constitution and find that the President MUST have the power to run the executive branch.
Gwjack
Yeah, this is why he was fired.
Because he’s the enemy.
I hope you’re right because judge Amy’s getting on my nerves.
“No standing”?
Dellinger does not have standing in regard to the fired probationary employees. What particularized concrete injury has he or will he suffer if they remain fired? NONE.
Dellinger is the only personnel case where President Trump has not prevailed (that was decided).
That is a very unusual case with its own complexities—imho not relevant for the other three million federal employees.
Nonetheless—it would be good for the Supremes to go our way on it.
A country cannot run with this bulls#it going on. Emergency appeal.
Slick Willie had no choice. Gingrich’s Congress took the money away!!
Trump can ban him from federal buildings and remove his security clearance and let him try to get before the Supreme Court. Stop listening to judges. They are district judges. That is their jurisdiction . Bondi, any help
That is correct.
Clinton had no choice—he had to find money somewhere.
That said—his plan was very clever and there was nothing the federal unions could do about it.
A good strategy for Trump would be to collect the many TROs and take them all to the SCOTUS and have the jurisdiction of the districts courts struck down. Judges can’t restrict the executive powers of the president.
Who runs BarderTown? Amy or Donnie?
The Thunderdome will decide: two go in, one comes out....
That’s where it’s headed IF SCOTUS doesn’t get off its dead arse....
apparently you don’t know how the system works. You may want to brush up a bit.
Are you 4 imprint sure ?
Most of the TROs have already disappeared and the judges bailed on the cases.
At this point there are only a couple that remain open.
