My city doesn’t have to worry about that, because we’ve got a bunch of Hindus.

Any politician that allowed the influx of Muslims and Hindus into America should be tried for treason. It’s completely abhorrent that it was ever allowed

But yet, the 1st amendment allows freedom of not only religion, but association. So a community of Islamic dwellers is grounded as much as a community of Amish, or Mennonite.

I don’t see how legally anyone gets around that. Simply saying we don’t like your religion isn’t going to cut it.

They advocate for a different legal system that you have to follow when in their city. Just like all these nut-cults that pop-up and build compounds and ignore US law (like child marriage).

On the other hand, the last time I checked, sharia is NOT compatible with the United States constitution.

That's the ticket - declare them a "cult" and shut them down.

Good! More people in public office and private citizens need to be unafraid to stand up to the cancer of this fake religion.

I think a very good constitutional case can be made that Islam is an existential threat & should be treated as a cult. Not a religion.

The problem is when you try to exclude home buyers that aren’t Muslims, community sharia police, or set up local court type things that operate on sharia instead of local/state/federal law. Restrictive covenants regarding race/religion went out in the 60s. This shouldn’t be hard.

A law should be passed to declare Islam is not a religion because it isn’t.

Texas passed a law in 2017 keeping sharia out of our court rooms. With the first amendment it will be hard to outlaw a specific religion the USSC likely would strike it down. Even if that “religion” is a battle plan in actuality. Freedoms cut both ways
