The article does push gun control but is eye opening none the less. Large numbers of Barrett .50 Cal rifles are being legally purchased in the US and shipped to Mexico to be used by the Jalisco New Generation Cartel. Additionally, recent allegation against the Jalisco New Generation Cartel indicate that 4 US Special Forces Soldiers, 1 Green Beret/Delta Force Operator, 2 US Navy Seals and a Ranger from 75th Ranger Regiment. The point that is interesting to me is this one particular cartel has professional military people running their operations who have all received special forces training in the US.

Yep.
But the mix of media is a bad choice gauged by my standards.
Remember this is just one gun store where the rifles were being purchased, I’ve read these rifles are being purchased at gun stores all over the place.
At a delivered price of $50K each, that’s 12 rifles.

maybe fewer than that when you consider the prices of various add-ons for them, plus the ammunition.
Here’s a video that goes into more detail about the issue, multiple stores were used to purchase the rifles and how the rifles were transported to the border and smuggled across into Mexico.

Indicate that they did what - missing verb and object.
Did you read the article or at least scan it for a minute or two.
Yes, I wasn’t clear, but conveying information isn’t grammar contest, if we eliminated bad grammar on FR, about 2/3rds of the posts would be deleted.
The enemy is among us, thanks to that treasonous POS known as O'Biden.
Yeah, I wasn’t aware that Racine was built in 2018! My late Grandparents lived there in the 50s.
Close, imho.
Good points, plus the backend.
Whew, I thought it was just me having problems with this crap-bucket article.
When Clinton thought he had banned “A-s-s-ault Rifles” the anti gun radicals did not shut the lights off and go home. Instead they looked for the next target to ban which happened to be the .50 cal rifle “THAT CAN BRING DOWN AN AIRLINER WITH ONE SHOT!” One reporter thought he had hit the jackpot when he saw dozens of muzzle loading rifles in .50 cal for sale in a gun store.
They once ONLY wanted to register, then ban handguns. “Rifles will not be affected!” they said. They lied.
I still remember pre-1968 when you could order an anti-tank rifle and ammo through the mails with no problems.

Supposedly the rifle used by Lee Harvey Oswald was purchased from a catalog and shipped to him.
My first gun was a Ted Williams model M-1 Carbine purchased from Sears-Roebuck.
****4 US Special Forces Soldiers, 1 Green Beret/Delta Force Operator, 2 US Navy Seals and a Ranger from 75th Ranger Regiment****
Where are they mentioned? They weren’t in the article.
So why are they buying ‘military-style’ weapons when they could buy pallet loads of real military weapons on the world market? I hear Afghanistan will offer them a bulk deal on brand new, only dropped once weapons. It’s not like they don’t have the money. This has a smell to it.
Here is one of the video, at around the 7 minute mark they discuss the situation.

Here are couple of other videos of former US Special Forces soldiers talking about if this is true.

I thought this was about the article, not videos to watch.
The article is about the Cartels acquiring a significant number of Barrett .50 Cal Rifles, I threw in the information about US Special Forces which is a hot topic on a number of podcasts, I provided a couple of links that are talking about it.
If you want to watch fine, if you don’t that’s your choice.
Do a better job the next time you try to post a thread, if you are posting a jumbled vanity then make it clear that you are doing so rather than this mess.
Just ignore any thread I start; you can avoid any mess you perceive, and I will avoid any comments you make
Or you could just learn from your mistakes and do it right next time.
