200,000 jobs—gone in Washington, D.C., in less than a month. This isn’t just a blip. Consumer spending will take a hit. Housing won’t be far behind. But don’t expect the impact overnight. This is a slow-motion unraveling.
The so-called "booming" service sector last quarter? Just inflated prices masking stagnation. The illusion of expansion disappears the moment you look at the numbers. And now, the consequences are here.

“200,000 jobs—gone in Washington, D.C., in less than a month. “
Hallelujah!
Hmmm…removal of parasites from the body of the PRODUCTIVE portions of the American economy is not a GOOD THING? Learn to code… or build!
Do you all want to know who fired 400,000, YES 400,000 federal workers during his term..BILL CLINTON yep SLICK WILLY himself..no one cried, no one made a fuss, and the economy did NOT suffer from doing it

Those were military cuts they claimed were “federal workers” under klinton.
They should learn to pump oil.
September 30. What’s left of these departments can be transferred to deep blue cities like Chicago or Boston where their vote won’t matter.
Or rather, they should learn to drill.
The jobs report always shows that the vast majority of jobs created either came from illegals or from the federal Govt..is hardly the private sector..so the best thing is for these federal employees to go into the private sector
I grew up in the Virginia burbs, many of my friends worked for the government but are all retired now, even before the Planed-Demic, so they missed out on all this BS.
I get your point, but...the vast majority of the 87K were not going to be gun totters. Our side does not help ourselves when we keep posting this.
