Apple didn’t provide that backdoor. Instead they disabled the Advanced Data Protection mode for users in the UK. You can do whatever you want, but your data is still secure IF you enable Advanced Data Protection mode and you live outside the UK. That UK law applies to all cloud

Shellenberger isn’t always right, but he’s one of the better journalists around. He understands that the Left is/was destroying the country.

It’s more far-reaching than most folks realize. The UK can now spy on USA citizens via of the Applie compromise, and then, with the deep state 5-eyes agreement, that spying can be sent to the USA Deep State circumventing our Constrtuional rights. They’ve been doing it for years, but Apple was the last digital holdout.
Don’t put nothin’ on the Apple icloud of any value....NOTHING. It’s no longer secure/private, and can/will be used against your best interest...count on it, especially when the next communist becomes POTUS and takes over the govt.

I never have, and never will. As my mom warned me before I even understood the term "party line," the internet is just a great big party line. You'd better assume the world is listening, because it can.

Posing the question: Is the UK now a police state?

The Online Safety Act, passed by Parliament in 2023, was a preview of coming attractions.

More people should have paid attention.
