NY City in chaos is probably inevitable
Cut off their parasitical relationship with Fed.gov, printed money and government debt, and things are guaranteed to get ugly.
The issue with that was Wall Street. Can’t have chaos where all our financial markets are centered. But... wall street is slowly dumping NYC and moving elsewhere, right now they are creating the infrastructure to move their operations to Texas. Once Wall Street is gone, then you can write off NYC from a federal money spigot is concerned.
