Musk’s SpaceX team visiting key FAA command center — despite past frictions
Multiple sources reporting. Placeholder discussion for FR blog
I posted a link to Reuters article and it got zotted. This is a vital topic given so much media press about the relationship between DOGE and FAA I plan to blog about this starting with today’s meeting between Musk/DOGE and FAA HQ

Trump administration wants to reform air traffic control systems
My opinion - Many of the Federal Employees who want to work on real problems will consider joining the FAA and re-engineer and re-think how the Air Traffic Controllers work with pilots to ensure vital transmissions are not inadvertently missed and separation and low altitudes are assured especially in Washington DC - Reagan and Dulles airports Inside the SFRA
Visit comes days after effort to fire hundreds of probationary FAA employees
White House said air traffic controllers not eligible for incentive to quit
Blancolirio / Juan Brown Channel covers the DC midair brilliantly
Look forward to more updates from him as the investigation continues and changes to the way the FAA manages DC airspace is implemented so this NEVER happens again. Too many mistakes were allowed to happen which resulted in a mid air collision at LOW altitude in the DC SFRA

The article stated PASS noted probationary employees were fired. PASS does not represent air traffic controllers. PASS represents technicians on the equipment.
Ok, do you expect that DOGE will be key to upgrading Air Traffic Control management of traffic within the SFRA ?
I expect DOGE will assist with all air traffic control.
Agreed. Less bureaucracy in the FAA and more air traffic controllers to avoid any gaps in coverage. Period.
Every FAA bureaucrats needs to maintain their basic proficiency in running a console or be fired.
