right now the wind is at our backs

but I do not believe these folks will fade quietly into the night

In fact some of those high ranking resignations, could prove problematic as they position themselves to overtake the old democrat guards.

Democrats have been using government jobs to pay Democrat activists…. Its better they are on the outside rather than on the inside

This is a theory. Maybe, but most likely not. One must always be on guard for the unintended consequences. But this is a little on the order of fear mongering.

Massive corruption is being exposed. Trump’s second election was won based on his performance of his first. His current term will be better. He’s not been in even a month and he has them all on the run, the judicial crooks are fighting him and his popularity is not fading. The amount of graft, once brought into line will balance the budget.

Sorry, I just don’t like negative thinking.

What the author described is what Bill Clinton achieved in 1992, assisted by Ross Perot's populist Presidential candidacy. The Boomers and late Silent Generation Democrats overtook the aging Greatest/GI Generation era politicians. Clinton flooded the zone with 30 and 40-something appointees and elected officials. Please note that many of the same people hung on through the younger Bush and Trump I administrations, finding employment in prestige law firms and NGOs before and after Obama and before Biden. The Boomers are fading away and in the case of the Democratic incumbents in the Michigan and Minnesota Senate seats, they were probably strongly encouraged not to run in 2026. These are relatively safe Democrat seats, so it looks like newer, Millennial faces are wanted. Also,Democrats must deemphasize the social issues and focus on the economy, which Clinton did in 1992. Remember the line, it's the economy, stupid.

The key to the democrats successes over the past fifty years has been truckloads of government largesse. Democrats think nothing of form a quick NGO gets funded by some obscure shady government agency to pay ‘community organizers’ and ‘activists’ for their services. The goal is to dry up these funds and force the democrats to pay for their own treasonous activities.

The first thing to do is stop referring to these people as democrats, democratic, they are communists. Totalitarian dictators. Know your enemy.

Caesar: don’t encircle and crush the Gauls - they might get mad and reform.

Nonsense.

The dems were already at peak fury and hate, except they had all the levers of power, and pulled out all the stops. Trump et al are taking away their means to fight, let them get mad. Enemies do stupid things in anger.

Keep smashing, and smash some more. Demoralize, expose and bankrupt to highest degree possible.

Their machine’s money supply just got throttled and the legacy media mouthpieces are loud yet largely mocked and irrelevant.

They won’t spend their own money.

DOGE is their kryptonite.

The vast majority of these government layoffs are liberal shxtheads that had little to offer. Government could easily operate with 50 to 70% of it’s workforce gone.

So these folks fired, taking buyouts etc contributed little and what you’ll find is their strength lies in whining, complaining and basic inability to do anything on their own.

The muscles of the Democrat party are weak and atrophied because everything has been handed to them for 50 years. Laundered taxpayer money has been fueling their machine all these years.

Now that their gravy train has stopped, they don't know what to do. They're too weak, stupid, lazy, and ignorant to compete with us on a level playing field and their current leadership is clueless as to how to get back in the game.

Indeed. The Democrats are, among other things like Communist and Corrupt, are the Government Party. Government employees are the enemy of smaller government because government is their money cornucopia. The necessary downsizing may well make them noisier and turn many of them into Party activists but that is an inevitable byproduct of actual reform. I am sure that is factored in to the process.

...a fiscal adjustment—it’s a catalyst that could reinvigorate and reorganize the Democratic machine into a more formidable adversary.

I challenge this notion. The Dem leadership is still dominated by far-left lunatics, Case evidence: David Hogg was just elected #2 to the DNC. He is a power-hungry wacko leftist. It will take years banging their collective heads against the wall before they get a clue. Besides, there life blood of USAID is dried up. IOW, these bitches have been Thunderdomed.

As Trump exports illegals, he is simultaneously creating a ready-stock of employable Americans who are ready to step into those abandoned jobs.

It appears that the vast majority of the NGOs, lobby groups, “grassroots” organizations and others the author refers to are FUNDED by the USGov’t.

This means the cleanup of places like USAID is going to remove a LOT of these groups’ funding, and they will wither on the vine.

The only thing the left ‘leadership’ knows how to do is to be more extreme. They believe they lost because they weren’t ‘far left enough’.

They believe extreme outrage equates to righteousness. When you’ve backed yourself into a corner, where all you can do is slur and shame people into silence, while not being able to answer “what is a woman?” - and demand people agree that boys can transform into girls, you’ll just be considered idiots by the majority.

We told them to not go after the kids. Then they went after the kids. We tried to be polite. Now we don’t care. It’s clear on social media too. Facebook is not being policed like it used to be, now the left can’t handle the alternate voices - the ‘trans agenda’ is being destroyed by rational people. It’s not even close.

I think the left is in shock. They don’t know what to make of it all. That said, I agree with the article, in that, they will regroup, they will re-message, and come back with even more far left ideas. The difference now though, they tried to gaslight people to such an extreme it was obvious, now nobody trusts their messaging - except the idiots that are still drinking MSNBC.

Conservatives should be alarmed.

AU contraire, we should be alert and aware, and plan for any contingency.

I suspect our current weather is putting a damper on big city uprisings, perhaps a blessing in disguise. But it gives us a chance to prepare and the BP and ICE to clear out some of their minions.

Plus their funding is being cut and they are spreading their plans so we know what they're up to.

SO *alarmed*? No. Prepared? Yes.

Most of the employees now leaving federal jobs are probably not really strong Dems. They had a good gig going, & no doubt voted to keep it going, but are now moving to Realville. I don’t expect them to suddenly become ardent Leftist activists.

And the fact that the Left cannot steal taxpayer money for their nonsense means they’ll have trouble doing their community organizing.

I’m not too worried, but we shall see...
