One of my guilty pleasures is watching a lot of the Cop shows—On Patrol Live and Cops for example.
It has been interesting to watch the female cops when things start to get dicey.
In most cases they are paired with big strong male partners.
When that is not the case they will almost immediately call for backup if the situation looks potentially dangerous.
An example—a routine traffic stop where there are four (or even two) big black guys in the car. I have never seen a female cop do the routine traffic stop stuff. Every time she will stay in her police car and call for backup if she has no partner or another female partner.
In a decent percentage of those cases the black guys (if they have something to hide) figure out what is happening and then flee the traffic stop. Then she can chase them but is careful not to catch them—waiting for other cops to join the chase.
It reminds me of the old joke about dogs chasing mail trucks—what are they supposed to do if they catch one?
Lol.
That’s also an argument to go with a higher poundage trigger connector. Standard is 5 pounds. 7 and 9 are also offered.
