The United States is rapidly becoming a “post-industrial” nation. All great economic empires eventually become fat and lazy and squander the great wealth that their forefathers left them, but the pace at which America is doing this is absolutely breathtaking. Nobody can deny that our economy is a complete and utter mess right now, and we only have ourselves to blame. It was America that was at the forefront of the industrial revolution. It was America that showed the world how to mass produce everything from automobiles to televisions to airplanes. It was the great American manufacturing base that crushed Germany and Japan in World War II. In fact, the primary reason why we won World War II is because we simply outproduced our enemies. But now we are witnessing the deindustrialization of America. Tens of thousands of factories have left the United States over the past several decades. Millions upon millions of manufacturing jobs have been lost during that same time period. The United States has become a nation that consumes everything in sight and yet produces very little. Do you know what one of our biggest exports is today? Waste paper. Yes, trash has literally become one of our top exports as we voraciously blow our money on whatever the rest of the world wants to sell to us. The United States has become bloated and spoiled, and our economy is now just a shadow of what it once was. Once upon a time America could literally outproduce the rest of the world combined. Today that is no longer true, but Americans sure do consume more than anyone else in the world. If the deindustrialization of America continues at this current pace, what kind of a future are we going to be leaving to our children and our

“The Deindustrialization Of America”
Special thanks to our labor unions - NICE JOB!!!!
Yes, we literally gave everything away. We allowed savages to have modern tech, and then opened our borders to allow them to replace us. Ted Kennedy was a driving force, lying and saying America wouldn’t lose its European roots. Then we were flooded with third-worlders and previously backwards countries like China, which is still 99.9% ethnic Chinese, they can keep up. But maybe it’s inevitable. But I do know this, when we collapse, the whole world will collapse with us. China or Russia isn’t going to sweep in and save the day. They will Mad Max with the rest of us. The near future is grim.
Thank the neoCON scum like the Bush family who taunted the American people with their elitist vision of a ‘service’ economy while shipping our manufacturing overseas to places where workers are paid 10 cents an hour or are actual slaves. That way, Romney / Bush / Mccain and their country club friends could get their grass cut for super cheap and have butlers and maids.
Don’t forget to thank the ‘conservatives’ that mocked Pat Buchannan and Ross Perot too.
This is what drives me crazy about the the timing tariffing—and loud whinging about it.
Our national security, in light of China’s ambitions, including for our homeland, combined with its control of our supply chains, depends on it.
BTTT
All done to the US by Deep State communists.
Here’s a bit of a problem: AI and robotics will be able to perform all manual labor within a decade.
Now the good news is, we can RAPIDLY reindustrialize.
The bad news is, no one will be able to make a living doing those jobs.
Do you really say that Ted Kennedy was a driving force?
And don’t forget the democrat destruction of America and manufacturing by regulating it to death.
Here’s a bit of a problem: AI and robotics will be able to perform all manual labor within a decade.

Highly doubtful. The last CNC machine my company purchased came with a robotic arm.
Guess what never gets used after a year of wasted time?
Until I start seeing building & vehicle repairs being performed on a daily basis by AI & robots. I’m not going to worry too much about losing whole labor markets to hype.
oh goodness yes, he lied about the The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965, stating :
“The bill will not flood our cities with immigrants” and “It will not upset the ethnic mix of our society”. He also said the bill would not cause American workers to lose their jobs.
All of that was a lie, and from that point on, the floodgates were opened and we quickly became a flophouse of the wretched.
Can we at least bring our prescription drug manufacturing back home from china? Would that be ok, or do the neoCON free traitor open border scum have a lecture for us about ‘muh free markets’ ‘muh free trade’ and ‘muh corporation’?
That should be a/the top priority.
Next comes food, along with critical infrastructure and critical materials.
Before WWII, the US had the world’s 19th largest military. But we had 50% of the world’s manufacturing capacity— a sleeping giant indeed. During the war, just the Pittsburgh PA district produced more steel that all of the Axis powers combined.
Totally agree.
Now I’d like to see a solution - a remedy for the problem.
Well summarized view of a likely future.
Should have gone Amish when I first wanted to, 40 years ago...
“Ted Kennedy was a driving force?”
He was a driving farce.
