Transgender Rep. Sarah McBride (D-DE), a biological male who identifies as female, was set to give her first speech on the House floor. But what should have been a happy moment for the Democrat got awkward when Rep. Mary Miller (R-IL) spoke up.
Instead of referring to McBride by his preferred pronouns, the GOP congresswoman gave the transgender lawmaker a more appropriate introduction.
“The chair recognizes the gentleman from Delaware, Mr. McBride, for five minutes,” Miller said in the House chamber.

In the post accompanying her video, Miller explained why she made this introduction.
“Today on the House Floor, I refused to deny biological reality,” Miller wrote. “President Trump restored biological truth in the Federal Government, and I refuse to perpetuate the lie that gender is open to our interpretation. It is not.”
As Fox News noted, McBride did not acknowledge Miller’s introduction. Instead, went on to spew a deluge of lies about President Trump and DOGE.
“Piece by piece, department by department, the Trump administration is defunding critical federal services, purging employees, consolidating power, and cutting and gutting programs that Delawareans rely on,” McBride whined. “They are trying to decimate the federal government and sell it for parts to line the pockets of donors at the expense of working people.”
“They do not want to make government more efficient. They want to prove that government can’t work, by making it not work,” he added.
Sticking to Trump Derangement Syndrome was the only play McBride and Democrats have at this point.

Probably during some inevitable debate about men in woman's sports, I would point out to Representative McBride and allies that it is a form of insult to use feminine words to describe a person with a Y chromosome. I would point out that a person with a Y chromosome (even if he has cut off his manhood) is a male and to deny this basic fact is anti-science. Further, if a person with a Y chromosome believes that he is a female that would be a clear sign of mental illness on the order of believing that he is a golden retriever.
If you couldn’t accept yourself for who you were, why should I be forced to accept who you now claim to be?
