Amazing Firefighters. Thank You.
Since diversity didn’t prevent the fires, they’re trying water now.
Especially the ones “who look like me.” S/
Sorry folks, it’s their job.
They get paid very well to do it.
A handful of times a year they are called on to do something.
The rest of the time?
Public Employees are not your Heroes.
Don’t fall for the propaganda.
Since diversity didn’t prevent the fires, they’ve now switched to trying water.
Good one.
Are the pilots diverse enough?
“Sorry folks, it’s their job. They get paid very well to do it.”
You should be sorry. I haven’t heard any firefighters complaining about doing their job. So what do you think they should be paid when they go into a burning building, wearing forty pounds of gear, looking for victims, with burning floors and ceilings falling around them?
What an absolutely silly thing to say. Fireman and Policemen are rarely overpaid. As a son of a firefighter who almost lost his life on a few occasions trying to save folks, I can answer the critics of the folks who see them when they are not at a fire. They are trying to maintain their equipment and other important jobs, but there is always someone that sees them ‘not at a fire’ and assume they are just coasting. My Dad gave up his back in a fire, but never complained. He just re-habbed for a year and then was able to jump back on a truck and fight more fires until he retired, and died. Please don’t lump them in with the unelected bureaucrats that you probably are referring to.
A few get over paid if they have a special arrangement with the NY Fire Chief. ;-)
Firefighters are not supposed to be able to lift 100 lbs in LA.
I find your comment despicable. I come from a family of firefighters. Every time my dad left for work there was a weight on the family wondering if he would return. He saved people, he saved animals. As a Christian he believed he was called to serve through firefighting. May God forgive you.

A Liberal kind of reaction to things, much like the Liberal line, in terms of the nation’s gratitude, that equates going to college as the equivalent of voluntaring to serve in the military.
Anyone who choses to put themselves in the position of possibly putting their own life on the line is doing more than “just doing their job”. And in terms of personal sacrifice it means more to the nation than just going to college. Same with the police and fire fighters.
You’re wrong about that.
Inaccurate title.
Should read,
“Hero PILOTS assisting LA firefighters at Palisades”
Just sayin’.
