Praying for a wished-for political outcome is NOT prayer, in my estimation. It is asking God to vote "your way." The pray that individuals remain incarcerated who did NOT assault a police officer but walked through the velveteen ropes accompanying by Capitol police is 1) not particularly Christian in the sense of being forgiving of one's fellow man, and 2) not in keeping with President Trump's views.

God is bigger than Pence, bigger this nation, this world, this galaxy, this cosmos. Pence's conception of God seems highly LITTLE.

Pence reminds me a lot of Jimmy Carter. A man wanting to be and do good, but who is totally clueless about what that is. A man who believes capitulation is compromise. Not much of a MAN at all, but who desperately wants to be viewed as one.
