Fine by me if she wants to cut off the USA...a quick google search shows the base is mainly used for...."Now the U.S. military uses Soto Cano as a launching point for humanitarian aid missions throughout Honduras and Central America.".......... so no more aid to them then. Okay

If the Honduran illegals are such hardworking, honorable and productive citizens, why doesn’t their own country’s President want them back?

It there any reason other than inertia for there to be US bases in Honduras?

Awesome.
Hopefully every foreign country follow suit so ALL American troops can finally come home.
Then end ALL foreign aid. All of it.

In 3 days to a week, there will be a news story that Honduras’ president has called Trump and declared he would be please to take back those pesky illegal Honduran immigrants.

She knows that the ones who have tasted life in America who get returned will start asking some pointed questions to their own leaders about why life there sucks so bad.

They’ll have to give us notice and a withdrawal timeline. It would be a good place to dump illegal Chicoms as they will turn to them out of spite.
To: Salman
You nailed it. The base is a leftover from the early mid-80s wars in Guatemala, El Salvador and Nicaragua.

Honduras has had recent wars with Nicaragua and San Salvador. I’m sure they’ll be able to fend for themselves without us.

She wants money, period. We don’t need that base, we have submarines! (And apparently lots and lots of drones).

Soto Cano is , or used to be a base for DEA interdiction aircraft. When I was there, the DEA aircraft was a sole Cessna Citation. The pilots lived in a mobile home next to the ramp and looked like castaways. The Army company there was like the lost battalion.
Point is, since this base doesn’t do anything to stop the flow of illegals moving north, there really is no pressing reason to maintain a U.S. presence.
