Star Trek: Deleted Scene - Space Seed - "Khan Stuns Dr. McCoy And Takes Control Of The Enterprise." In this deleted scene from Star Trek (The Original Series - TOS), from the episode, "Space Seed," Khan Noonien Singh (Ricardo Montalban) takes control of the U.S.S. Enterprise with his Genetically-Modified DNA ('Seed') Eugenics Super-Humans. Khan has placed Captain Kirk in the Compression Chamber, and the executive staff is in the Executive Briefing Room, where, held captive is Mr. Spock (Leonard Nimoy), Dr. McCoy (Deforest Kelley), Commander Montgomery Scott (James Doohan), Lt. Nyota Uhura (Nichelle Nichols), and traitor, Lt. Marla McGivers (Madlyn Rhue). As phasers are being pointed at all of them, Dr. McCoy says that he doesn't normally say this to patients, but Khan owes him something, because, Dr. McCoy saved his life. Khan has Dr. McCoy stunned by phaser fire, and then, he tells Spock that McCoy is only stunned. Khan says that he's sure that Mr. Spock approves. Spock says that he only approves of the logic, with which he used, to take control of their vessel. Brilliant. (Note: Added background Briefing Room sound effect and phaser 'stun' sound effect, because the original clip had none). (All of these Star Trek scenes are from The Roddenberry Vault Blu-Ray Set).
