I honestly don’t think this is about wages and benefits, these tech companies have a plethora of funds to pay wages and benefits, I think this is far more about hiring someone training them endless hours then having them leave on a whim and having to start all over, I think it has to do with the overall true passion to work of the American worker, sorry but we are sorely lacking in that department AND along with that passion for your work comes willingness to absolutely work endless hours to reach the goal desired!! We ALL know the American worker is willing to just walk off the job when it will hurt the company most, the younger generation has very little loyalty to companies they work for today it did not used to be that way in my generation! I believe this is MORE about these visas forcing the workers for exchange of the visa to stay on with the company for at least a 5 year period of time making the training time spent on them worth the effort!! This is not about money these companies and people have a plethora of money they are driven to success and they want people surrounding them with that same drive and passion!!!
