Bob Hope landed in Monroe, Louisiana when I was working at the airport. He had a performance to do. While we were servicing the aircraft the two pilots were sitting on the stairs having a drink from fine crystal glasses.

I asked them what “Bob Hope was really like off the stage.”
One replied, “off the stage was the same man.” They both liked and respected Bob Hope. One said, “We are drinking Bob Hopes whiskey and he knows it.”
