I am absolutely looking forward to Season 5, but I’m resolute about avoiding previews and sneak-peaks. I want to experience it freshly in its entirety.
I love how The Chosen sneaks in characters that are like long lost friends.
The character development of the fictional characters in the show is one of the things that makes the entire series so good!
We KNOW the fate of every character that is recorded in scripture But the people they interact with that are NOT in the Bible or in this case we only have a single mention of Phoebe in the entire Bible where it is recorded that she was “helpful” to Jesus and Jesus made a point to bless her in some form or fashion. We don’t know exactly HOW she was helpful so it is not “out of bounds” in my humble opinion to give her a role in the show that is plausible and does not detract from the main characters whose lives and deaths and interactions with Jesus are recorded in scripture
