On Tuesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky blasted the peace efforts by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
To begin with, Zelensky rejected the notion of having intermediaries, saying that Ukraine needs – and has – direct relations with the United States.
essanews reported:
“President Volodymyr Zelensky stressed the importance of Ukraine having direct interactions with the United States. ‘We are currently in a transitional period in the United States. I am in contact with President Trump’, he stated. ‘We have had several meetings and talks. I don’t need intermediaries for this’, Zelensky announced during the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities in Ukraine.
He added that ‘various politicians are using this for publicity’ and, in this context, referred to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. ‘I will not let him and those like him go first. We need direct relations with the United States’, he emphasized.”
Orbán spoke with Vladimir Putin by phone about Ukraine, using ‘all diplomatic means’ at his disposal to achieve a Christmas ceasefire.
“Zelensky added that until Trump takes office, Ukraine is working with President Joe Biden, who has increased the number of decisions and aid packages for Ukraine. ‘It’s a pity they are intensifying this now, at the end of the term’, he noted. He expressed hope that the Trump administration will support Ukraine and not halt this assistance.”
Zelensky also belittled what he sees as Orbán’s lack of geopolitical power, saying he has no leverage over Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Kyiv Independent reported:
“’Ukraine is a strong country and has proven it on the battlefield throughout Putin’s aggression. Does anyone else in Europe have this experience now? No. Does Orbán have such an army? No. How will he put pressure on Putin? With a joke, a smile? Let him keep it’, Zelensky said.
[…] ’Prime Minister Orbán will not succeed. I won’t let him or people like him in’, he said, clarifying that his remarks were directed at Orbán, not the Hungarian people, who he argued overwhelmingly support Ukraine.”
This alone is reason for Trump to tell Zelensky to make a deal, any deal, or all US funding will be cutoff to Ukraine.
Hmmm.
“Kazan” is also the name of a city in Russia.
Hmmm.
Putin won’t negotiate until Z gives him Budanov’s head on a platter.
So, you have a problem with Trump involving Orban in peace talks to end the proxy war in Ukraine?
It’s not a coincidence.
I only have one FR screen name.
I’m not trying to comment on it.
Jest walkin’ along and whistlin’.
Yep.
Jest walkin’ along and whistlin’.
Sure is curious, though. Yep. Sure is curious.
Wow... that is interesting.
So anyway moron, did he say something you find incorrect?
I can’t say. I’m just a moron.
“”He expressed hope that the Trump administration will support Ukraine and not halt this assistance.””
I bet he does!!! Hope, that is!
“”Zelensky also belittled what he sees as Orbán’s lack of geopolitical power””
Orban is the leader Zelinsky will never be!
I can't wait to see the reaction of FR's Putinista club when Trump ends up continuing military support to Ukraine.
Which Zelensky promptly rejected, again. He's got a good track record of doing that.
Anyone supporting the proxy war in Ukraine and the evil forces behind (Biden, Deep State, Soros, the globalist elite, the MIC) should immediately stop referring to himself as a Christian.
Ukraine isn't getting an inch of territory back. It's gone for good.
What are you going to do if he doesn't? After all, Trump didn't even invite the neocons favorite ally to his inauguration.
Zelenski is an unelected twit that will be sent to hell. Lets butcher more of my people... for US cash.
Thanks. I see. So the Christian thing to do is to cheer Russia on when they invade a neighboring country. What about invading Lithuania or Poland? Should we hope that Russia wins then, too?
That's the only way to solve it for sure. Russia has been through the US's "you have our word on it" to many times already. And our signature agreements aren't worth the paper their written on either.
I can’t wait to see the reaction of FR’s Zeeper club when Trump ends their Ukraine money laundering operation.
