The White House declared on Monday that drones spotted over the northeastern United States are operating “legally and lawfully.”
This statement comes amidst growing public concern and demands for transparency, fueled by President-elect Donald Trump’s call for answers regarding what he termed “an alarming mystery.”
National Security Council spokesman John Kirby attempted to downplay the situation, attributing the sightings to “commercial, hobbyist, or law enforcement drones, all operating legally and lawfully,” while noting that some reports may have been misidentified aircraft or even stars.
Pentagon Press Secretary Major General Pat Ryder held an off-camera, on-the-record press briefing on Monday and addressed the issue with a barrage of carefully worded statements, admitting that military bases have reported drone incursions but emphasizing that such incidents are not unusual.

You know if the lying government would not have tried to be too cute by half and change up the term from UFO to UAP and then to Drones we might at least know what we are talking about. We clearly know that a number of the objects are classical UFOs and they are the ones we are most concerned about. I’m talking about hovering orbs that have a plasma aura/energy shield around, making no sound and defying gravity, moving in and out between dimensions and zipping around in all directions in and out of the oceans with the ability to stop on a dime and travel almost at the speed of light. I believe the operators are friendly, but just for giggles, it’s past time we all are told who they are. Hint for Kirby - they are not going to stop making their appearances until you fess up.
Maybe they are trying to solve the mystery of approximately 200 yearling calves that went missing in Colorado.
The only way it’s legal seem to be if the Government of the United States has secretly surrendered to the operators of these surveillance aircraft

The way that John Kirby seems to be laughing off this whole situation tells me that there is something up, something that is not good.

Do you know how much grief fedgov would give civilians flying play drones over govt areas and AIRPORTS in air traffic lanes!?!?

Bingo. They are sensors for some dangerous element probably. And they do not want to alarm their constitutional bosses, us, with that truth. They fear something big and they are testing for it. I do not like that elitism. Trust us with this info. We don’t pay you to lie to us.
My bet is nest drones looking for nuclear materials. Nest is part of the DOE, not DOD.
Trump at his press conference yesterday (paraphrasal}:
“Our gov’t knows what the drones are”
“I don’t know why they don’t explain”
“I can’t comment on whether I’ve been briefed.”
