As far as I’m concerned, he basically admitted that he was involved in the assassination attempt. Doesn’t want to answer questions, emotionally unstable — he’s hiding something.
If he cannot control his emotions better than that, he is unfit for a serious armed agency.
And so what if he helped sift ashes at the WTC? That was almost 25 years ago. We are talking about his F up in July.
Imagine someone in the Army in 1960 screwing something up and when confronted he starts talking about how he was at Normandy in 44 and how dare anyone ask him anything.

What the heck does that have to do with the FACT that Pres Trump was nearly assassinated while SS failed in their job? Fallon shoulda said “I don’t give a rip what you went through years ago, that is not what we are here to discuss- you had a job to do and you failed!”

If the Republicans had any balls, the Chairman would have called the Congressional Sgt. at Arms to escort Rowe to the Capitol’s jail until he “got a hold of himself.”
He was deflecting because he knew he had done things wrong. He is a troubled man and needs to be firedimmefiatly. I ca not believe how he was talking to a member of Congress. The arrogance of this guy.
I think the Capitol jail is now just a historical curiosity. It’s not set up to hold anyone. Originally it was never set up to hold anyone for an extended period of time. The subject who needs to be jailed is normally referred to the DOJ and jailed through that process. Of course, when the DOJ is biased toward the subject that’s a problem.
I agree Rowe is covering up involvement in the Trump shooting.

Rowe was behaving like a bully and refusing to answer a simple question. Congressmen only have 5 minutes to ask their questions and receive an answer. Rowe was attempting to filibuster his time and deserved to be shut down by Fallon.

Agreed. Fallon started the histrionics. He did have a point though, that what Rowe did on 9/11 had nothing to do with the discussion, and that Rowe was clearly trying to deflect and avoid answering. But Fallon did a very poor job there, unfortunately.
