Two years ago a storm blew out the bridge to my timber property. The replacement is going to be 5 1/2 figures. FEMA won’t lend me a cent because there’s no residence on the property. The county required that in order to harvest, it had to be zoned TPZ (timber production) excluding residences.
By the way, the debris that took out the bridge came from a failed culvert which should have been maintained by the county.
The victims just need to darken their skin, go to a border state, and claim to be a “migrant.” They’ll get a hotel room, cell phone, food and a loaded ATM card.

It was the (male) sheriff and (male) fire marshall who were preventing a trained rescue volunteer helicopter from helping stranded individuals at Lake Lure, NC. They even separated and elderly man and wife with no hesitation, throwing their weight around. Scenes like that were repeated all over the afflicted area.
