This one didn’t even bother to hyphenate hers and his......suggests lack of commitment to the marriage IMO.....of course I suspect a lot of lib marriages are more business propositions for convenience and to portray a certain image more than anything else.

NH at the state level is red in all branches of the state government from the governor down. We want to keep it that way and would like to see a red shift in the federal representation.

These liberal women don’t take their husband’s name because it’s frequently advantageous to hide that link between them and their husband. Like when a cabinet member in the Biden/Harris administration is married to the head of CBS/ABC/CNN. It happens a lot.

I knew a guy by the name of Smith once.

His dad had abandoned them when he was a baby his mom raised him and his siblings. He said he was tired of telling people his name and them thinking it was a pseudonym. So he changed it to his mother’s maiden name. He said he felt no connection to his dad and since his mother raised him, he wanted her name instead.

It made a lot of sense.
