Alpha News visited Blue Earth County, Minnesota, the hometown of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, to ask residents what they thought of him.
Walz, a former football coach at Mankato West High School, has a past filled with over exaggerated claims and falsehoods.
The local sentiments also indicate that Walz’s Minnesota roots is not be enough to sway voters in his favor.

Very interesting.
I thought that the-Walz-are-closing-in was from the Panhandle of Neb. where all the small towns had a plethora of street lights.
Yes, “Verrrry Interestingk.”
Those folks don’t seem to want to be very neighborly to Tim Walz. Wonder why?
“Wonder why?”
He’s a CCP Commie shill, Jim....
And a horrible governor. Few like his policies.
They know the real Pedo Tampon Tim (PTT).
” Walz’s Minnesota roots is not be enough”
Minnesota roots?
The big gay bully Walz is from Nebraska. He has no roots in MN. He’s a lying poser, and always has been.
Can’t think of a single reason to visit MN now. Walz is just so cringe, if people from MN like him, that isn’t my type of state no matter how beautiful the lakes are. Michigan has beautiful lakes too.
Reporter wanted to see Elmer Fudd in the wild of his own state.
There are 87 counties in Minnesota and Walz only won a handful of them in his reelection in 2022.
That was after the George Floyd riots and his draconian covid response in 2020 and 21. And he still got reelected. Supposedly, anyway.
Outstate Minnesota is far more conservative, and would not vote Walz, but the hotbeds of voting shenanigans is Hennepin and Ramsey County, and in the Duluth and Rochester areas.
The outstate people are “normal” and generally honest and run the system well. In the large metro areas, the bad guys live alone and can manufacture as many votes as they need. Since MN does not have that many electoral votes, no one comes in to clean house, and our AG Ellison has never seen a false Democrat vote in his life.
I’m guessing it was the counties right around the bigger cities, like it happens here. The big cities are blue, and everywhere else, it’s red.
How did this guy ever make it to the position of governor?
Nebraska is pretty much the opposite of a guy like Walz & has been for a long, long time. I doubt he would have been elected for anything in Nebraska. In fact, I’m rather surprised he got elected for governor of Minnesota. It’s probably like some of the voting in certain other states where the candidate gets through because of a certain majority in one or a few of the major cities. That’s why we have the Electoral College, but a few people always slip through.
