"Will no one rid me of this turbulent priest?"
So said Henry II about Thomas Beckett. Wikipedia explains it this way:
"It is also commonly understood as shorthand for any rhetorical device allowing leaders to covertly order or exhort violence among their followers, while still being able to claim plausible deniability for political, legal, or other reasons."
Indeed. Now let's rewrite it slightly for the democrat party.
"Will no one rid me of this turbulent President?"There is no question about it. democrats would love to see Trump killed and they are doing everything they can to encourage it happening. The means is the Trump-is-Hitler theme.
This is atrocious and disgusting, but it's what the democrat party has been reduced to, and it reflects a growing desperation among democrats. Hillary Clinton, still burning from her 2016 thumping by Trump, suggested the rally would be a reenactment of a pro-Hitler rally at MSG in 1939.
Hillary Clinton on CNN says that Trump is a fascist and notes that Trump is about to "reenact" the Nazi rally in Madison Square Garden in 1939. Clinton just upgraded me from ‘deportable’ to ‘Nazi’. Hooray!! pic.twitter.com/g9nSJP9Q8G

This morning the dog whistle was blown and the dogs responded.
AOC called it hate rally.
Mika Brzezinski called it a hate rally.
Susan Rice, who abused conservatives non-stop in the Obama regime, called it a Nazi rally.
“These people are dangerous. Donald Trump hugs dictators. He’s about to have a rally reminiscent of 1939 cheering on N*zi Germany.”Tim Walz added his typical mindless drivel
"Donald Trump's got this big rally going at Madison Square Garden," Walz said, speaking to voters in Nevada. "There's a direct parallel to a big rally that happened in the mid 1930s at Madison Square Garden. And don't think that he doesn't know for one second exactly what they're doing there."Mary Trump got on the Nazi train
But it was Jonathan Capehart and MSNBC who went completely off the rails
What the fvck, @MSNBC. You deserve to be canceled to the core. pic.twitter.com/HwVDYhMoF6

Well, this was obviously a Nazi rally. It must be true because of the Nazi flags seen at the rally
Is that a NAZl flag at the MSG Trump rally? pic.twitter.com/SAc0TsSUH9

Mary, you shouldn’t be drinking this early in the morning.
In fact, no demonrat should ever win any election ever again and the rat party should be dissolved permanently.
For years, they’ll be surgically digging the gravel out of their respective rumps from the landslide that’s coming
The Democrats can visit our local public schools and grab the tampons out of the boys rest rooms on the way out of town.
To Democrats, it’s not “the land of the free”, it’s “the land of the free stuff for me.” Boy, they sure forgot JFK, didn’t they?
“There’s a direct parallel to a big rally that happened in the mid 1930s at Madison Square Garden.”
So, if 1939 was in the “mid 1930s,” then I am completely comfortable saying that I am in my mid 50s, if not early 50s. This Walz guy might be onto something after all.
bkmk
If they have to go all in with the Hitler card, then the democrats have nothing left on the race card. But that won’t even work with Jews. The democrat party is a dead horse they should have had a primary but then the couldn’t control everything. The whole trans agenda was too far and only hurt the LBG groups. But Obama was incensed with losing power. He might do anything between now and January he is a narcissistic psychopath.
Democrat voters dumb and danngerous as Gaza voters.
They deserve FAR more than that.
If not for the media and rampant voter fraud, the Democrats would have no chance of being a viable national party.
I was going to post something similar. You said it best.
By their logic Bill Clinton is a nazi since the DNC convention was at MSG in 1992, and Carter is a double nazi since it was there in both 1976 and 1980.
