Orban: The West is losing in Ukraine
Citizen Watch Report ^

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has made a striking assertion: the West is losing the war in Ukraine. This situation, he claims, is unprecedented for nations that have traditionally emerged victorious since World War II. Orban’s statement paints a bleak picture, saying, “They are up to their ears in a losing war,” which raises significant questions about the effectiveness of the West’s ongoing support for Ukraine.

In a bold critique, Orban specifically targeted the European Union’s unity in its support for Ukraine, suggesting that the collective approach is flawed and ineffective. He emphasized that Hungary has successfully “managed to stay away” from the conflict, positioning his country as a unique outlier amidst other EU nations that have engaged more deeply.

“unprecedented for nations that have traditionally emerged victorious since World War II”

This isn’t true.

The US has had two outright victories in my lifetime: the First Gulf War and Grenada (which was absurdly lopsided).

Can anyone think of another?

Quick. Send the Ukies some more pallets of money before Pedo Joe uses it to pay the bills of college student deadbeats.

.......Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has made a striking assertion: the West is losing the war in Ukraine.......

Well, “we” should not have been backing Zelensky in the first place! Then the West would not be losing!

Hopefully, Trump will end the war, and Zelensky will move to a villa in someplace like Virginia!

God bless the people of Ukraine, Russia, Hungary, Poland, and Serbia!

Oh yes that’s right.

That would be as much of a fight as the US invading Delaware.

I think both Iraq invasions were disastrous, for different reasons. I would not call a war that left the regime in place and required a twelve year long deployment to keep the lid on a “victory”.

When Iraq invaded Kuwait, we should have flown SECDEF over there and told Saddam, “meet us in Riyadh”.

Calling Panama and Grenada “victories” dishonors the word.

US defeated Iraq and Afghanistan both in a matter of days.

Removed Iraq from Kuwait.

Kept Communist North Vietnam from taking over South Vietnam until we decided to quit.

If US wants to win we win.

Corruption and communism in our body politic is our problem.

It’s the politicians, not the military.

My guess is somehow there’s money involved in snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Fighting wars that dont matter is a symptom of that corruption.

If a war is worth fighting, there would be no nation building, hearts and minds policies, or restrictive rules of engagement.

Carpet bombing and such would be applied if the war matters. Otherwise, it is simply a MIC/neocon adventure that gets great Americans and innocents killed or injured.

Grenada was a bold Cold War victory and helped break the Russians, it wasn’t just a display of capabilities but sent a huge message from President Reagan that the Russian global march of the previous decade was over and would be countered.

They should still be at the Ukraine Security Services Headquarters. It’s only 9:30 PM there.

Winter is coming and the Ukrainian Zeepers are panicked over freezing without electricity. It is making them cranky.

Orban is a Hungarian patriot protecting his nation and people from needless involvement in foreign wars and from TRUE invaders (aka known as “migrants” and “refugees”). Props to Orban and Hungary.

I don’t know that Russia is “falling apart at the seams”, but, it IS telling that with all their size, resources, and manpower, the Russians have resorted to bringing in Nork troops (not just mercenaries), and providing sat intel to terrorists (the Houthis) attacking commercial ships that often are NOT connected to the US, UK, Israel, etc. This is not just a matter of the Russkies consorting with “the wrong people” — that is sort of to be expected. These are very high risk moves with good chances of considerable blowback, such as South Korean weapons support for Ukraine, or clandestine reciprocal attacks on “dark fleet” shipping.

(Can Israel sink dark fleet ships and convincingly make it look like the Houthis just screwed up again? You know they can...)
