Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton on Monday said his investigation into ActBlue uncovered large number of suspicious donations made through obscured identities and untraceable means.
“Our investigation into ActBlue has uncovered facts indicating that bad actors can illegally interfere in American elections by disguising political donations,” Ken Paxton said.
“It is imperative that the FEC close off the avenues we have identified by which foreign contributions or contributions in excess of legal limits could be unlawfully funneled to political campaigns, bypassing campaign finance regulations and compromising our electoral system,” Paxton said.
“I am calling on the FEC to immediately begin rulemaking to secure our elections from any criminal actors exploiting these vulnerabilities,” he said.

This method of MONEY LAUNDERING goes back at least to the Clintons’ Arkansas days. The ‘RAT corruption toolkit has many, many tools.
Typical GOP move. Make noise too little and too late.
Act Blue has been a known criminal enterprise for years. What does Ken think is going to happen now?
At least it’s a strongly worded letter.
Senator Marco Rubio wrote a strongly worded letter to the FEC last year about the Dems ActBlue fraud.
Trump needs come in with this sort of data, pick a decent person to head the FEC and tell them: “You have 3 months to make heads roll and make BIG changes. If you give me nothing in 3 months, you are out. I need weekly updates. I need progress. I need speed. Show me something.”
Governor DeSantis cleaned up the Florida voting system.
Florida went from being a purple swing state to a reliably deep red state.
Give the principals at Act Blue the “Trump Treatment”. That is, file charges in a Texas court: fraud, conspiracy to commit fraud, racketeering, RICO, money laundering, wire fraud, etc. And, to the extent any of the alleged donors were located in Texas, charge them also with identity theft & illegal impersonation. I’m sure there are also State election laws and campaign finance laws that are being violated. Nothing is preventing the Texas AG from filing STATE charges against them.
He needs to get in, first.
So he has nothing to say about all of the donations That act blue pretended came from individuals who did not donate such money to them. We have known about that for a few years and yet nothing has been done about it. I thought Paxton was going after Act Blue on that. But I guess not. Conned again.
Also, immediately get a cease and desist order under penalty of contempt of court if they don’t immediately cease.
It always fascinates me how nearly a million Democrat "voters" [937,410] disappeared in Florida from 2018 to 2022.
I suppose the 2022 Florida ballot creation money was needed to squelch the "Red Wave" in other states in 2022, which is exactly what happened.
Gillum 2018: 4,043,723 "votes"
Crist 2022: 3,106,313 votes
I'm aware that Scott and DeSantis took care of the Broward County and Palm Beach County "problem girls" [Snipes & Bucher] - but still - 940,000 "disappeared" Democrats?
did something like this happen in Iowa and Ohio, as well
Act Blue needs to turn back on the Address Verification System (AVS) when receiving credit card transactions. It has been turned off since Obama.
There is no good reason for a merchant to ever turn AVS off.
Which “election” cycle are you inquiring about?
Nice catch!
Iowa 2018 Nominee Kim Reynolds Fred Hubbell Party Republican Democratic Popular vote 667,275 630,986 Percentage 50.26% 47.53% 2022 Nominee Kim Reynolds Deidre DeJear Party Republican Democratic Popular vote 709,198 482,950 Percentage 58.04% 39.53% Ohio 2018 Nominee Mike DeWine Richard Cordray Party Republican Democratic Popular vote 2,235,825 2,070,046 Percentage 50.39% 46.68% 2022 Nominee Mike DeWine Nan Whaley Party Republican Democratic Popular vote 2,580,424 1,545,489 Percentage 62.41% 37.38%
That completes another piece of the "How the 2022 Red Wave got crushed" puzzle.
They wanted the US Senate pretty bad, so that "Faceload" Harris could cast lots of tie-breaking votes...
They shift it around every "election" to the most crucial places.
After the election he needs to go to TX and show them how to do the same thing.
TX has been a mess since LBJ
