I had read about this earlier & it showed a picture of the flag explaining & showing the differences. If you are going to protest something, it seems like the least you could do is to make sure of your actions & the statement you are trying to make. Idiocy at it’s finest example!
That explains why so many of them are arrogant and unlikeable.
I know a guy who actually got his PhD (in English) who kept saying “Sand-script.” I took me a few seconds to realize he meant “Sanskrit” (an ancient ancestor of Hindi). Of course, I couldn’t correct him.

Sorry, she could be in school for seven days a week for twenty years and taught by the best teachers in the world, but no amount of education is going to fix that level of stupidity. She was absolutely certain that she knew what she was talking about despite being completely ignorant about it.

A possible scenario there is that the police combed through the applicable statutes and decided that there was no way to charge someone for a “hate crime” for vandalizing a nation’s flag.
