They were atrocities on both sides (or, all sides, thinking of the various Indian tribes as independent players), but these were the exceptions to the rules of war as understood at the time. Indeed, the U.S. and Great Britain started the world to the Geneva Conventions to codify and, in certain ways, expand on the rules of war.
A recent book focuses on the atrocities. They aren’t limited to one or the other side. And, they weren’t the general rule. None of them compare to the atrocities of Hamas.

Who watches this guy Noah who takes the funny out of comedy” He simply is not and has never been funny. If CBS wanted to serve up a South African comedian on its DEI menu, they would be better served having Elon hosting the late night spot.
