Maybe they don’t belong there… Gee…What a concept, right?
There have been women who performed well in the military; but I agree that they don’t belong on submarines.
“Women were barred from the United Kingdom Royal Navy’s submarine forces from 1901 until 2011”
Were they allowed on the UK submarine forces before 1901? Why were they banned in 1901?
I was a girl in the military. In a combat zone. I had no trouble. I’ve lived in cities and have been around men and boys my whole life. Have been married and have been in bars with fighter pilots on a Friday evening - not night and not myself drinking. No.
I would never get on a submarine. I have never been enclosed with a large group of men. It is against natural law.
An unfortunate incident aboard the Royal Navy submarine HMS Pinafore.
They’ll never learn.
what woman wants to worry about incoming “friendly torpedoes”?
Everywhere that women have entered the work force during the last 55 years they have brought in the government to remake that workplace and the men in it, no matter if it is blue collar, white collar, military, law enforcement, factory, plant, aviation, construction, trucking, mining, heads will roll until the men and the owners, and the mgmt., learn to adapt to the fact that government and lawyers are now standing next to them all day long, eye balling them, monitoring them, when women join your workforce the eyes and ears of the government is with them.
Imagine the smell.
The pretense that primordial instinctive behavior won’t surface on a sub is unadulterated insanity.
Take a titanium tube. Stick a bunch of gear in there, put it underwater for 180 days with female submariners and what do you get.?
Btw, where do the tampons go?
Not out through the ballast. That would get a torpedo up your butt.
5.56mm
Didn’t they ever get invited to the submarine races?
Operation Petticoat skirted those little problems.
Good movie, so so series.
so true ... it is sickening ...
They should put the scalawag in a torpedo tube and flood it.
The first women aboard a US submarine (USS Georgia) were shower-cammed. Navy PAO was angry they had to cancel the pro-diversity story for the media because of the “misogyny” of a few. It was brilliant!
So whadda they expect from a boat that’s long, cylindrical and full of seamen? Natch....
What a shock...🙄
