It’s a paraphrase of a Marl Marx quotation. It Basically means we have to undo/forget (unburden) history (what has been) to institute Marxism (what can be). More or less. I’m in the ballpark. Weinstein explains it better.

This is where I thought the quote came from. Marxist Kamala’s father was a Marxism professor and a Marxist. On Drew Barrymore, Harris said her coconut tree saying came from her mother, so I assume her father used to say the Marx quote. Trump needs to create a political ad, spelling out that Comrade Kamala quotes Marx repeatedly.
