What’s the deal? All Garvey has to do is ask for the endorsement. Trump’s playing hardball with potential RINOs. Great! Garvey was a smarter player than this.

Some have suggested it’s a calculated decision on Garvey’s part to not be too closely associated with Trump in blue California. I’m not saying whether that’s smart or not, but it’s likely what’s motivated his failure to reach out to Trump.

Youngkin tried to keep Trump at arm’s length in Virginia and eventually won the governorship, although he did appear with Trump a few times and received Trump’s endorsement. If Garvey’s looking for a blueprint on how to succeed in his race, he may want to look at what Youngkin did. It’s a fine line he needs to walk, but totally ignoring Trump is probably not smart.

Being a RINO is the only thing that gives Garvey a remote chance in the Golden State. If Trump endorses Garvey in California, they’ll both be tied to the inevitable Garvey loss.

Like NY, California is a heavy media center. That means there would be a daily account of Garvey’s struggles, and they would each be associated with Trump.

Steve Garvey isn’t worth it.

I was watching the San Diego Harbor webcam and at noon there was a Trump parade of boats. It’s a flotilla. You can still see it. Boats with BIG American and Trump flags.

Go to the link and click on the red line at the bottom for around noon

It would boost Garvey and other Republicans in California to have Trump’s endorsement.

Everything RINO turns to sh*t.

In California, running against the traitorous slimeball Schiffty, Garvey’s probably better off without Trump’s endorsement.

In California, having Trump’s endorsement may be a losing strategy. Harris will probably have a margin of 3-3.5 million votes there, maybe more. I think Garvey is toast no matter how he plays it, but given CA’s imbalance in voter registration, his approach is understandable.

Garvey needs MAGA if he seriously wants to win. Watch here as hundreds of Trump supporters rally in Little Saigon and then form a car convoy to Beverly Hills, where they are greeted with wild enthusiasm. To have any chance of beating Adam Schff, Garvey needs to embrace the MAGA crowd and utilize this enthusiasm.

Garvey is 30 points behind in the polls. He hasn’t campaigned at all to my knowledge. I got one mailer from him that talked about his baseball career. He also had a long vacation in Mexico.
It’s sad that California has no real Republicans of substance to run anymore.

There is no endorsement Garvey betrayed the Dodgers when he signed with the Pads.

NO! Steve Garvey is 75 Years Old for goodness sake, where are the new young Leaders? No one wants to step up in California, so unfortunately we will not experience proper “Sacramento” change here in my lifetime. I refuse to be forced out of the state I grew up in though, that’s not happening.
