Clark County Commission President Melanie Flax Wilt, a Republic, must be in on the whole conspiracy to cover this up because she said it’s not true too.
Tragedy.
Thank goodness there are things we can laugh about.
I cant watch this enough to even know if it has been edited.

“Thank goodness there are things we can laugh about.!”
I will be 86 in a few weeks, in fact on election day.
Obviously, I ended up with some good DNA to reach this age.
A sense of humor and ability to laugh at myself, with and at friends and enemies is now being listed as a major key to longevity.
One could do a doctoral thesis on this incident, and how people responded to it re their life spans after this becomes history.

Cuddling your DOG can reduce symptoms after a physically painful ordeal, scientists reveal

God Bless you, FRiend. I feel like my outlook is very similar to yours, and I am glad it has taken you that far...I hope to follow in your footsteps.
As for the thesis, I have a boss who is the greatest, and she says SHE is going to write a book titled “You Can’t Make This Shit Up”!
I am trying to find my way to God, and for the last year or two, I have been attending a Christian men’s group. One of the key topics of frequent discussion is anger, how it is a problem for many men, and how to deal with it in a Christian framework.
I am very often angry at things I see in this world, and have struggled with anger my entire life, and my problem is that I am a quick boil. I don’t hold onto the anger, but...sometimes I am like a nuclear reactor when the moderating rods are pulled out. I can go from zero to a hundred in the blink of an eye.
It isn’t a useful reaction, and I battle it. Easier as I get older.
Thing is, humor is a wonderful antidote to anger. When I am angry, humor takes the punch out of it, and when I am not angry, it is a joyful spice to life. 90% of the time I am walking around like a grinning fool...:) (Granted, my sense of humor can be quite twisted, but...I feel like I own a wide range of that emotion. My wife and friends do a good job of humoring me!)
Free Republic has been an absolutely awesome medium to stoke my funny bone and my humorous musings, but...I have to remind myself sometimes that the guy on the other side of the globe who has some misfortune, even a fatal one that has an element of some kind that pokes at my sense of humor is...still a guy somewhere with people who love him. I occasionally tread in inappropriate places humor-wise.
On the other hand, some of the things we read here tickle me pink. There was a story about some guy trying to get his car to a lookout point where the sunrises on the Pacific had a reputation for the spectacular. He was following his GPS to get up there, and ended up driving of a cliff that had eroded away. The guy somehow not badly injured after his car plummeted 60 feet onto rocks below. Kind of a good ending, but what was most memorable to me was the one word post from some hilarious FReeper...
“Recalculating...”
Anyway, nice talking to you!
