An economist skewered the leftist media for mindlessly propping up the Biden-Harris job market as the epitome of success now that it was revealed that the government overestimated job growth by nearly 1 million jobs.
The Biden-Harris administration’s overestimation was a whopping 818,000 jobs, equal to about 30 percent of the reported jobs growth in the 12-month period ending March 2024. The revision obliterates much of the optimism about how legendary the Biden-Harris job market supposedly was. The New York Times blathered in a June 2024 analysis piece about Biden having a “historically strong job market.” The Times economic columnist Paul Krugman even bleated an absurd 2023 notion that Biden was “creating the best job market in a generation.” Forbes also celebrated the supposed “Record-Breaking Accomplishments On Jobs” under Biden in a June 7, 2024 item.
In an exclusive interview The Heritage Foundation economist EJ Antoni rebuked how “[t]he talking heads who parroted the business headlines and never bothered to look under the hood of these jobs reports fundamentally failed in their role as journalists.”
As Antoni pointed out, many journalists just took the headline Biden numbers on jobs hook, line and sinker and fawned over them to the public without ever questioning their veracity.

The MSM over the past fifty years has had a very discernable leftist slant. However when in 2020 they collectively and absolutely absolutely refused to report or investigate the Hunter laptop in order to deceive the American people, they forever lost all credibility. Decent, rational people now view them as harmful propagandists. They are not journalists.

Because these people are not even reporters, let alone actual journalists. They are instead propaganda organs for the government - which is to say, the Democrats. The media has largely been exactly that since before Ronald Reagan was even in office. Every Republican candidate or president is either stupid or the most evil person that has ever breathed air, whereas every Democrat candidate or president is a combination of Albert Einstein and Mother Teresa. The bias could not possibly be more stark. What amazes me is that people haven’t figured that out yet.

Social housing has been done to death (literally) right here in the US. As far as collapsing the regular housing market... social housing automatically destroys property values everywhere it is implemented... and the crime rate automatically skyrockets, which ends up creating what they call “food deserts” ...as stores move out of the area due to that crime. What it really causes is civilization deserts, but the leftist PHDs and media will never connect those dots because that might be ‘racist’.
So as usual, the British Labour Party (Read: the British communists) have no new or fresh, much less original, ideas. They plan on drawing from the same old failed “ideas” they always use. That’s just who and what they are and that is how they roll.
And let’s face it. Social housing is really where they want ALL of the populace living...which is where the British people probably will be... eventually. And the UK leftists probably point and laugh at our communists, who are doing the absurd by housing migrants in hotels and other more expensive housing.
The difference is... our communists are merely attempting to implement the replacement theory on steroids here, since our communists want all of us in the social housing projects, while giving the “newcomers” the houses that we formerly lived in. Harris/Walz plans to start that process by handing out $25k to the “newcomers” to help them buy a house they’ll never be able to afford to stay in. But that’s ok. It worked for them back in 2008, by collapsing the mortgage loan industry to get Obama elected, so it’s a leftist failed idea that will work again. Just... not for legal Americans.
Biden’s Bogus data is now Harris’ bogus data. Economic data under Biden is first reported with much ballyhoo in the MSM. Then, very quietly, it is revised to show that data is not as good as reported. Statistically, such “corrections” should be normally distributed with “over-shoots” equaling “under-shoots”. However, I cannot find one instance in the Biden Era where that’s the case. The first reports are always “good” (e.g., lower unemployment, higher economic growth, stable or falling prices). Later, those data are adjusted so they are “bad” (e.g., higher unemployment, lower economic growth, rising prices).
In other words, Biden is lying to you about the economic state of the US and correcting it later in hopes you won’t see it. The MSM knows this, but continues to carry Biden’s water. You can expect the same from the MSM for Harris, too.
