Have you noticed an unusual number of vehicles in the parking lots of major retailers in your area at night? If you look closely enough, you will see that many of those vehicles actually have people sleeping in them. At this point, millions of Americans are sleeping in their vehicles every night. This is happening even though we are being told that the economy is just fine. But of course the truth is that the system is failing all around us. So if you get to sleep in a very warm bed in a very warm home, you should consider yourself to be very blessed, because vast numbers of people are really struggling right now.
The primary reason why so many people are living in their vehicles is because the cost of living has soared to unprecedented heights.
In particular, the cost of housing has become extremely oppressive. In fact, housing in the United States has become more unaffordable than it has ever been before.
This week, I was stunned to read about a 33-year-old man named Ishan Abeysekera that is paying $2,100 a month to share a house with 23 other people…

And yet half our population is ready to return the perpetrators of this economy to office. That’s even sadder than the plight of those living in their cars. Maybe an improved economy will help some of the homeless but there’s no hope for the voters who want this to continue.
Houses are expensive to buy and own. Vehicle’s are expensive to buy and own. Which one do you absolutely need to make money in most cases?

The economic demise can be attributed to #1 loss of manufacturing which was encouraged by our own government via tax incentives in the 70’s to 80”s. #2 Expansion of welfare programs which in turn lead to larger state and federal agencies (make work positions.) #3 Non-enforcement of immigration laws which allows hordes of non Americans o flood multiple fields of employment (at a much lower wage) pushing Americans out of what used to be localized employment depending on what area of the country you were raised in. Now our own tax money is destroyed by supporting illegal aliens and housing becomes in short supply with millions of non citizens taking space with our own tax money

Odd that you use that story as a way to slam Dave Ramsey. I have listened to Ramsey and he advises to cut cost to get out of debt, not to become a 401K millionaire.
Deport the throngs of people who have entered illegally and the housing market will adjust accordingly with vacancies rising. The cost to just simply exist is absurd as our nation can easily exist in a global economy if the political will is there. The divisions that currently exist and I think are purposely generated by Godless people within government and certainly the news and media complex. satan (in my opinion) no longer hides in the darkness.
