The Founders wanted us to be “nutty”.

They created a system of government that was based on the idea that government is a necessary evil. And that by its very nature, government is inherently prone to corruption.

The checks and balances that they carefully put in place were based on the assumption that our leaders would be every bit as dirty and evil as any other leaders in any other part of the world throughout history.

And the only way we could have a government that was by, for, and of the people, is if the citizenry always assumed the worst about our leaders, and never, ever gave them the benefit of the doubt.

I’d like to know who in the Trump campaign picked an open venue to hold a rally. A place where would be assassin snipers could have clear shots at Trump.

Open venues would be fine if it was situated so that the only people who could have a visual of President Trump would be those who went through the screening.
