Maxwell Friedman of All Elite Wrestling is phenomenal, elevating the role of “heel” to an art form while maintaining athleticism on par with anyone else in that company. And that company’s people are consistently better than WWE’s, who pull in twice the revenue.
Jokes are often made about putting politicians into steel cage matches, but I’d pay to see the likes of Schumer, Raskin or ‘the Squad” in ‘Loser Leaves Politics’ matches. That would give some lesser-known wrestlers positive exposure while crippling real villains as a public service.
