Rich: Lot of talk about writing in Brian Kemp this election. You voting for Trump or writing in someone?
Jeb: I'm writing in my Dad. please clap.
I “might” see that and Wolverine Deadpool. I hate giving money to hollywierd though. Last movie I saw in a theater was “Expendables”
Oh! The funnel cloud, not the board game.
“Twister” was a fun movie. Bill Paxton and Hellen Hunt were a good combo.
“Twisters” is the same movie, only less fun, not to say boring.
OK, I’ll say it; B O R I N G.
Ebert:
“It’s perhaps unfortunate that “Twisters” never approaches saying “climate change” clearly, but the implication is right there for whoever would like to see it—these storms are more destructive than they used to be, and there is cause for concern for the future.”

I’ll pass until I get it for free...unless others confirm the movie’s absent virtue signaling and, hence, Ebert is guilty of his own.
The last movie I saw at the movies was Jersey Boys. Before that, No Country for Old Men. I hate the people of Hollywood so much.
I watch movies for free on TV. Zero premium channels.
Tho if TCM ever goes subscription, I will have to pay and go with it.
I went with some buddies of mine this weekend, someone wanted to see it, I had no expectations, but I thought it was pretty good all things considered.
It was definitely fun, but no real lasting impact for me. In some ways it was better than Twister, but it lacked that sense of adventure somehow. I liked how everyone was morally complex, without diminishing the existence of morality. They borrowed most of what made Twister great and added to it, but it lacked the moments of absurdity (”Cow!...Another cow!... It’s the same cow!!!” or “Who ARE these people???” in the blade-filled barn) and awe (BUNGY-JUMPING a tornado???) or maybe it did have those moments and the pacing was off.
There was one minor role in Twister who was just so goofy and yet brought just the right touch of nerdy excitement to storm chasing; it was almost wierd to realize eventually it was the late Phillip Seymour Hoffman.
The only good twister movie is “Sharknado”!
We had an EF2 tornado hit our property last May.
Still cleaning up and repairing the damage.
I hate twisters.
