IMHO, the biggest security fail was not having a sniper and a watcher on the water tower where they could overlook the whole event.
That water tower is a 100’ elevation above the site. Any idiot would have had at least two people up there with binoculars and a sniper.
The water tower climb was too steep....OSHA was against putting anyone up there it was too dangerous. The Sun was hot...

The SS agent in charge at the event hasn’t been questioned by anyone outside the SS or FBI.

Agreed. They need to subpoena each and every member of law enforcement, local and Federal, that were there that day. Problem is that they, especially the SS, have all had an opportunity to get their stories straight. At this point I'd believe the local agencies over the Feds every time.

Not so, we now have cell phone video of a ‘mystery’ man running around on the same roof as the one Crooks was on before the shooting and the mystery guy is obviously still alive. Indeed, the mystery guy is seen running on the Crooks’ roof right past the second floor window that was supposed to have had guys there maintaining observation of the lower roof used by Crooks.
Obama/Biden/Harris’ “SS” had no drone in the air. As far as I am concerned that’s basic protectee protection 101. Deep State FAIL.

Worse yet, the airspace around the event should have been restricted to unofficial flights, but it is alleged that Crooks flew his drone unimpeded over the site and scoped out the area, which likely included the location of snipers and roofs.

There is fuzzy cell phone video which seems to show a guy on the top of the tower, but others say it is a shadow. Obviously, there would be a way to enhance the video to confirm or dispel whether the image is an individual or a shadow but I’m not aware such has been done. You are right that the tower, whether on the top of the tank or on the lower catwalk would have been a natural security post. This failure like all the others indicates that Trump’s security was the least of government concerns on 7/13. Don’t listen to their lying words, look to their inaction.
