So, *two* snipers with better equipment (and one would expect, training/ability as well) than Crooks - and one or both of them fired at Trump but only nicked his ear? Plus, the first shots were clearly not from a suppressed firearm, and were directed at the stage, not the counter-snipers who were quite visible. Just a wee bit of confusion in this tale - but that's probably the intent.

Nope, this just doesn't quite clear the Occam's Razor hurdle for me.

No, there were not multiple shooters in the trees with silencers and subsonic ammo.

In the video of the Trump shooting, three sets of shots can be heard: three shots at the beginning (0:08 to 0:10) which hits Trump, five or six shots in the middle (0:12 to 0:14) which are fired when Trump is down, and a single shot at the end (0:24).

Professional hits, which I believe this was, normally involve more than one hitman. It is plausible in this case that the professional hitman, who was not to be found, is responsible for the first three shots. He was supposed to kill Trump. The second gunman, Crooks on the rooftop, accounts for the middle shots. He was instructed to fire at Trump after the first gunman fired. And the final shot is the from the police sniper at Crooks, who was the designated fall guy, or patsy. This scenario fits a pattern of assassination attempts that have been used in the past.

In the Trump shooting video, a total of nine or ten shots can be heard. Five different people were struck with bullets. A hit rate around 50 percent is about right.

They depict a downward trajectory from the counter-snipers to the crowd. For this to be the shooter would have to suspended in mid-air.

Or, here’s a thought. Maybe people push the lone gunman theories in order to hide what really happened. BTW, whether one gunman was enough is debatable and irrelevant in this case. The theory of multiple shooters isn’t just a response to “It had to be more than one person”. The theory Cullen offered is in response to evidence that can’t be explained by a lone gunman theory. You can ignore the evidence if you choose. But if you were open minded you would have tried to refute the evidence rather than ignore it.
