The decision of Joe Biden to withdraw from his reelection bid raises the obvious question of how he can continue as president if he is incapable of running for that office.

The decision of Joe Biden to withdraw from his reelection bid raises the obvious question of how he can continue as president if he is incapable of running for that office. The Democratic Party seems to have created its own 25th Amendment, but ... ...there remains the "other" 25th Amendment. This is a type of 25th-lite option where you lack capacity to run but not to serve for an office...

...It also focuses attention on the efforts of Democrats to drop any challengers or hold any debates through the primary as millions voted for Biden. Holding a party "primary" in a matter of weeks is hardly a substitute for a primary campaign to expose candidates to prolonged scrutiny...

...The problem for the White House is the glaring disconnect between pulling out of the election but holding on to the office. Pulling out as simply politically incapable of winning makes a mockery of the unopposed primary process...

...Yet, pulling out do to diminished capacity makes a mockery of his political office. There is a striking lack of clarity on the basis for this historic action...

...There are also legal questions under the federal election laws. After the democrats rallied around prosecuting Trump for federal election laws, they hardly want a controversy on the transfer of huge amounts of donations to a new candidate...

...Harris has the advantage in claiming that she is the least controversial recipient of the contributions as part of the shared ticket with Biden. She would be able to avoid any primary fight and be made the party nominee by acclamation of the party elite...

...In doing so, the DNC may be able to avoid some very difficult federal election law questions.

He needs to resign if he is still alive. If they decided to ‘stroke’ him out, we need to see the body.

LBJ continued as President after he announced he would not seek re-election.

Joe has been nothing but a placeholder since the beginning.

A Scenario Where Donald Trump is Still Running Against an Incumbent President Starts to Surface

July 22, 2024 | Sundance

A few datapoints are starting to align in a specific direction. Let’s look at the data, then see if a possibility holds merit.

(1) Barack Obama did not endorse Kamala Harris.

Given Obama’s distain from ever being on the losing side of anything, the implication is that Kamala likely doesn’t have what it takes to win. The Lightbringer preferring to relish the role of nominee Kingmaker at the Chicago convention, in combination with his massive ego, aligns with this likelihood. Meanwhile,

(2) Gavin Newsom does endorse Kamala Harris.

Given Newsom’s career ambitions, this decision appears to be looking toward 2028.

Both datapoints would seem to indicate the professional wing of the leftist operation view the November election as an exercise in futility. However, with bets being hedged, that’s not the end of the play. Now we look closer at the position of Biden.

(Via Politico) – […] Steve Ricchetti, who’s been with Biden since his days in the Senate, drove to see the president at his house on the Delaware shore on Friday. Mike Donilon arrived on Saturday. The two men, both of whom had been by Biden’s side during key decisions about whether to seek the presidency in 2016 and 2020, sat at a distance from the president, still testing positive for Covid, and presented damning new information in a meeting that would hasten the end of Biden’s political career.

In addition to presenting new concerns from lawmakers and updates on a fundraising operation that had slowed considerably, they carried the campaign’s own polls, which came back this week and showed his path to victory in November was gone. (read more)

(3) The Biden campaign was not going to have money, and, regardless of funds, the polling indicated it was a futile effort.

Trump was going to crush Biden.  This point highlights and supports points #1 and #2, the positions of Obama and Newsom.

(4) Later in the day, Frank Biden, Joe’s younger brother, indicates to CBS that Joe Bidens health is deteriorating quickly.

This is the first admission that Joe Biden’s “health” was a major consideration.  When talking about Joe, Frank’s specific phrase, “to enjoy whatever time we have left” speaks volumes. Video Below:

Watch on X

The #4 datapoint opens the door for something else, for Joe Biden to resign the presidency due to deteriorating health.

Now we put it all together and remind ourselves how shallow the Democrats are; also, how ideological and vain they are to legacy issues.

Even if the DNC professionals viewed the November election as a likely defeat, they would still want to advance their party on an ideological basis and keep their left-wing pumped up.  There’s a possibility that can be created by Joe Biden resigning from office and Kamala Harris becoming the first woman president.

All of this political achievement would then turn the DNC Convention in Chicago into a pre-inauguration celebration, that would position the President Kamala Harris inauguration as part of the campaign.  President Trump is then still campaigning against an incumbent president.

The strongest position to run for the office of the presidency, is from the office of the president.  Under this scenario Kamala Harris, and by extension the base of the Democrat apparatus, has this emotional lift.

The pop culture/Hollywood aspect of Madame President opens a world of dreams for the Democrats.  Big celebrations everywhere, Taylor Swift participating, etc etc.

As the process unfolds, Joe Biden is welcomed into Chicago as the Titan of Democrats, and the music plays for the adoring crowds.  Heck, the timing of the abdication or resignation from office may even coincide with the convention as previously predicted.  Without disunity, and with legacy unity providing fuel for the delegates, the optics and narrative of the Democrat position literally changes overnight.

At the conclusion of the convention, Madame President then begins running against the horrible Orange Man as Hollywood and media executives begin replacing traditional campaign promotion with USA Madame President engaged with congratulatory world leaders.  Hollywood has been selling this DEI POTUS script in various forms for multiple years now.

If Kamala sucks or fails, who really cares, the legacy part is achieved.  “You’ve come a long way baby,” with pussy hats back in fashion.

Just as Joe was disposable as a one term POTUS, so too can Kamala be considered disposable as a five-month POTUS.

What makes this scenario all the more likely is how the right-wing of the UniParty bird is flapping the same message, Joe must resign.

If we look at it without pretending, it doesn’t matter much if Joe Biden resigns, and Kamala Harris takes over.  Joe wasn’t running things, and neither would Kamala.

We keep watching.

Good article. This is the money quote for me.

“The strongest position to run for the office of the presidency, is from the office of the president. Under this scenario Kamala Harris, and by extension the base of the Democrat apparatus, has this emotional lift.”

Quotes:

by late 1951 the Truman presidency was at a low point. In February, his popularity rating fell to an all-time low of 22 percent. Despite an unpopular set of price controls that Truman had implemented, inflation and joblessness were rising.

the Korean War — Truman termed it “a police action” — seemed to be in a stalemate.

RFK Jr and Tucker have stated that LBJ was most likely going to be indited and dropped from the ticket. When JFK was murdered that all went away.

Joe is just a demented old man with his puppet strings being pulled by committee led by Obozo.

“First [bLACK] Woman President.”

And, you’re right. We need Bidet to finish his term. Heck, I didn’t even want him to pull out of the race. But then, Republicans are their own worst enemy and will probably demand he step down immediately.

I think we all know that Biden did not write that letter and did not post it on Twitter.

It does seem strange that the president has not been seen in public for many days , and his official schedule is blank for coming days.

Do you want her running as an incumbent?

Not even the demoncraps want her as an incumbent. They have no intention of nominating her at the convention. Letting her sit as President for a few months would upset that plan.

It’s a silly question. Biden is a puppet and has been throughout his “presidency”. His mental capacity is neither here nor there. The same will be true of Harris whether she takes the office now or in wins it in November. Her mental capacity is about on par with Biden’s, but it doesn’t matter, she won’t be the one running anything.

Well played.

If Biden is still alive I do not like his current life expectancy.

The Deep State plays dirty.

That’s because the media had 4 years to demonize him in that role. The media would have 3 months to praise her in the role to provide her a lift.
