Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) revealed his meeting with Secret Service director Kimberly Cheatle "did not go well" after he called on her to publicly appear before the Senate Homeland Security Committee following the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump.

... and like so many unelected bureaucrats, she's allowing those in charge -- and it ain't her! -- to do this to her.
Why not talk to the officers at the event and work your way up the chain.
Kimberly Cheatle needs to be fire asap she is out of her element she’s an example of incompetence making it to the top of the list.
Proof that DEI can be deadly for anyone.
No more damned tokens at anything you have it or you don’t period.
I sense a sternly written letter is coming
I know this is a FR favorite, but just what are his options? Drag her in for testimony, call for her resignation publicly, and submit a criminal referral. What else?
Congress created the laws that protect these insidious bureaucrats. They should repeal them.
Trip her as she walks away?
at this point I think we are going to have a drip drip of increasingly absurd stories about how negligent they were, etc. etc. stories that make bozo the clown look sharper, and stories that are thus so demeaning that the public will not intuitively think they are also false.
if people are convinced they are grossly incompetent, they will not think this was intentional.
Apparently, “We don’t know” is the answer to everything. The same people that said the shooter acted alone before they got into the phone.
I like that...
It’s well known that the federal bureaucracy is mostly populated by fat, white, low IQ females who hate guns and can’t figure out which bathroom to use.
That the federal bureaucracy is made up of 10-foot-tall Rambos with Einstein IQs is a Hollywood fable only believed by neurotics.
HUBRIS
If this had happened to Biden or Kamala those agents would have been named and drummed out of their jobs in an hour.
“There are many FReepers who like to sound tough, but in reality, they are whiny wimps with no solutions or answers.”
What’s your solution tough guy? I’m waiting on your ANSWER.
She’s just another unaccountable and arrogant bureaucrat. DC is infested with them.
“Would help if a transcript was provided, rather than a vid.”

Absolutely right!
The American public quietly tolerates:
a. Billions of taxpayers’ dollars going to the defense of a corrupt foreign country’s own borders; while
b. Millions of illegal invaders break our country’s southern border on an annual basis, including criminals and terrorists from every country on earth;
c. Energy dependence upon our enemies, countries who are inimical to our existence, when we have the demonstrated capability to be energy independent;
d. Massive demonstrations in America’s cities on an almost-daily basis stopping traffic and commerce, by uniformed pro-Hamas radicals hating on the existence of Israel; and
e. U.S. citizens who were legally invited into the House of Representatives to demonstrate against votes being counted in a fraudulent election, being charged with insurrection and jailed for years with all constitutional rights taken away from them.
And now we think it is a disgrace that there is no massive outrage, demonstration, backlash, or push-back from the public when a leading candidate for national office is falsely convicted of felonies by a weaponized court system, and then summarily hunted down, and shot like an animal?
Are these the same U.S. citizens we are talking about?
Them?
Excellent posts every day—I think you may be doing that until January—at a bare minimum.
Criminals do not arrest themselves.
Btw—Nobody was successfully convicted for participation in the JFK assassination.
When Garrison tried the CIA starting using his witnesses for training target practice.
In other words, the elected senators elected by the people were stonewalled and bullied by a bureaucrat.
This kind of unaccountable arrogance is totally unacceptable in our system of governance.
I rather with this theory when it might be justified. A cut in the paycheck if one is justified, should accomplish in most cases one of two things; either an attitude adjustment or a resignation.
