On CNN this morning, host Kasie Hunt described the attempted assassination of Donald Trump in blunt, truthful terms as:
"A massive failure by the Secret Service."
Moments later, when panelist Elliott Williams, in the context of a discussion of unverified information on social media, made mention of people floating the notion of an "inside job," Hunt shut him down, saying:
"We don't want to get into that."

‘Trump’s life was saved by a miracle, not by his security’ — Russian Spetsnaz veteran
It appears that the people responsible for Trump’s safety dropped the ball judging by the circumstances of the recent assassination attempt, Alexey Filatov, retired lieutenant colonel of the Russian Federal Security Service and veteran counterterrorism specialist, told Sputnik.
While Trump’s security at the rally was provided by three groups – his bodyguards, local police and the Secret Service – it appears that there was no proper communication between them, Filatov, who previously interacted US security services personnel, notes.
Meanwhile, the perpetrator managed to somehow get on a rooftop only about 150 yards (137 meters) away from Trump, a distance where it is “fairly easy” to hit a target the size of a human head using “not even a sniper rifle but a usual automatic rifle with good sights,” Filatov remarks.
“It would be safe to say that the security performed extremely poorly,” he says, noting that for some reason, law enforcement and security personnel did not bother to secure all nearby rooftops in the vicinity.
“You could say that this terrorist act or, shall we say, assassination attempt, it was successful. Donald Trump’s life was saved by a miracle rather than by his security,” Filatov adds.

How is it the shooter knew which rooftop was going to be left unguarded?
The interesting bit is the light shined on the SS.
Shining lights on things can be a healthy process if done well.
And the fact that the FBI asked to use deadly physical force at Mar-a-lago had the chance arisen, speaks loudly here. These people clearly have murder on their mind. It's their one last hope to get rid of the man once and for all.
People told the Secret Service and the cops two to three minutes before the shots were taken at Trump that there was a guy with a gun on the roof of that building. None of them did anything about it.
The snipers on the roof of the building near Trump you can see in the background of some video angles were looking right in the direction of that guy, yet, they did nothing before he took the shots and 16 seconds after taking his first shot.
Massive failure is an understatement
Dear Lying Media scum
Please explain why a roof top, with ladder access, 150 yards from one top 20 highest value targets in the world, which had clear line of sight to both the stage and the egress route to the exit car, we left unguarded and uncovered?
That is, at the very least, pure reckless incompetence verging on the criminal.
The SS reports to Homeland Security who reports to you know who.
Was the JFK assassination an inside job?
This youtube video might shed some light.

“How is it the shooter knew which rooftop was going to be left unguarded?”
Probably because it was the FBI that put him up to it.
I believe every rooftop was unguarded.
Two impeachments that failed to remove Trump, fake lawsuits, numerous fake criminal charges and prosecutions, failed assassination attempt. Yep probably all coincidences.
Eyewitness believes there was a ‘noticeable’ difference in security at Trump’s rally

It was either gross incompetence or inside job. Pick one.
That is, unless someone can come up with a different plausible explanation.
What I find interesting is that whenever the left tries to “get Trump”, it always backfires. i.e. as usual, he’s stronger than ever.
Because it was the only rooftop in range. Which is even more remarkable that the SS could not take a look over there and see the threat.
When the President wants peace but the Deep State wants war, guess what happens? ( see JFK/Oswald, Trump/Crooks).
But you all know that. Not like we haven’t been here before.
He didn’t deny it. He just “didn’t want to get into it.”
How did the assassin know the best sniper perch was unguarded?
That is not explained by Secret Service incompetence.
