If this were to happen, I think the more likely play by the Democrats would be to demand a “do-over” of the election. You know, democracy and all that. All the usual suspects - Raskin, Schiff, Pelosi, Schumer, etc. - will demagogue over how Trump’s win is illegitimate because the people were deprived of an alternative candidate, etc. It won’t matter that Trump is legally elected or that the outcome was one of their own making. After all, the first rule of the Democrats is that rules are made to be broken.
And then the Antifa riots, or worse, will start. President Kamala will be instructed by the bureaucratic state, to declare martial law. The Presidential transition of power will be suspended until “the crisis” (manufactured though it may be) can be sorted out and new elections held. I hope I’m wrong, but I fear I’m not.
It would only take a normal flight of stairs going up to Air Force 1.
