In my working experience a large percentage of the people who are actively promoting their alphabet lifestyle by statements, clothing, hairstyle and bumper stickers have a number of similar traits independent of their alphabet-ish lifestyle. In general, either subnormal intelligence or knowledgeable on a very narrow spectrum, a good tech for example. Generally, they are not knowledgeable or well-read outside some narrow field, either being a tech or an expert on Karl Marx. They will say things that set ordinary people back as if they’re normal to say. Looking at someone’s small boy and saying, “wonder how big is d&*^ is?” Or, “he’s gonna break some guy’s heart.” Also, they’re not nice to people outside their narrow interests. (Normal people.)
People who are so “out” with their lifestyle choices are a relatively recent phenomenon. It’s as if now that they’ve declared to the world “who” they are, it’s okay to do and say things that no one would have said or done, say, twenty years ago. People complain our culture has become crass and vulgar. There were widely held standards of deportment as recently as a generation ago. More and more people have actively left the mainstream, not only without penalty, but they are sought after by companies with contractual obligations to have alphabet people outreach programs paid for by tax money. In order to prove to everyone, they are what they purport to be, they “act” the role.
We are heading towards cultural disintegration. We need to get a handle on this and stop. Going after the contractually mandated “outreach” programs would be a good starting place.
