BBC Presenter's Despicable Tweet: 'If I Was Biden I'd Hurry Up and Have Trump Murdered'
Red State ^ | 07/01/2024 | Bob Hoge

Posted on 07/01/2024 7:07:09 PM PDT by SeekAndFind

We’ve seen some of the deranged reactions from the left over the Supreme Court’s ruling Monday that a president enjoys immunity for official acts. AOC is threatening to impeach justices, CNN’s Jake Tapper frets that the decision gives the commander-in-chief the authority to assassinate his rivals—a worry parroted by an MSNBC legal analyst—while unhinged commenters on social media advised the president to drone strike Trump.

All in all, a very impressive showing of hysteria by “Democracy-loving” progressives.

Democrats Rip the Mask off, Call for Violence After Thinking the SCOTUS Decisions Gave Them 'King Biden'

Jake Tapper Fixates on the Idea That SCOTUS Immunity Ruling Means a POTUS Can Assassinate His Rivals

One British Broadcasting Corporation presenter took it to a whole new level, though, openly encouraging Biden to assassinate his rival for the presidency:

David Aaronovitch, who presents BBC Radio 4's "Briefing Room" programme, had apparently clamoured for the 45th President's killing online "on the basis that he is a threat to America's security".

Posting on social media, Aaronovitch said: "If I was Biden I'd hurry up and have Trump murdered on the basis that he is a threat to America's security" - sparking instant outrage online.

In response, some claimed the presenter's post had amounted to an "open call for violence", with others suggesting "people have had police visits for a lot less".

Sick stuff.

.@metpoliceuk This is surely a criminal offence by David Aaronovitch - incitement to murder. When will you be arresting him?

https://t.co/QQwVuRpwZc— David Cockerham (@DavidCockerham) July 1, 2024

The criticism came quickly:

One reply from journalist Jack Montgomery accusing the Radio 4 host of "Trump Derangement Syndrome", prompted Aaronovitch to jab: "Did you see the Supreme Court ruling Jack? Or were you too busy with your head up Nigel Farage's derriere?"

This guy must be the British version of Keith Olbermann, the former ESPN sportscaster who comes across as so deranged during his vitriolic rants that you fear for his safety when you watch him. (Or should I say, if you were ever to watch Olbermann, which I don’t recommend.)

After widespread outrage, Aaronovitch deleted the tweet 90 minutes after he posted it. As leftists are wont to do, he blamed the right wing for his violent words and ludicrously claimed his post was “plainly a satire.” Sure it was.

Not only was he inciting violence, but he wasn’t even a man enough to stand by his words. “It’s plainly a satire,” my arse (that’s a fancy British word); there was absolutely no satire or humor to his tweet.

The left always presents themselves as tolerant, peace-loving, compassionate folks who are the antithesis of those evil people on the right who want to destroy humanity. However, they’re only tolerant and peaceful when they get their way—but when they don’t agree with something, they very quickly become nasty, violent, and destructive.

The BBC probably won’t do anything (although I guarantee if this guy were on the right, he’d already be out of a job and in jail right now), but they absolutely should because this violent rhetoric is appalling—the kind that can lead to potentially deadly consequences.

How can diehard Dems be so blind and think Rs are the ones who are for violence when theirs are the ones who do and say this sort of thing?

I feel like madness is loose in the world....

also mentions he writes for Murdoch’s Times’ newspaper, has worked for the Guardian and socialist New Statesman. all too predictible.

all Brits have to pay for BBC. billions of pounds each year. and like ABC in Australia and CBC in Canada, the Beeb audience gets just one leftist view of every story.

how to shut them down?

Is there anything remotely like these threats coming from the “far right”?

BIG NO, because we are civilized.

Pinochet had the right idea.

No. The cornerstone of American freedom is the First Amendment "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." Throwing political opponents out of helicopters is the complete opposite of that. If we don't have the First Amendment we may as well be just another banana republic.

When it comes down to war, things change. And some things are worth fighting and killing (and dying) for. Like eradicating the diseased perverted forces that have taken root in America like — exactly like! — a metastatic cancer.

Thought question: how would your attitude have contributed to America’s founding, had you and your ilk held sway in (say) 1750?

Another thought question: what about WWII? Was Lindburgh’s attitude OK? Why or why not?

You speak well, but you have this one little problem...

The dude is a British citizen, not in America, and is therefore not under the protections of the 1st Amendment.

The limey bastid needs to keep his nose the f*** out of our business.

Biden will have Trump incarcerated for his hush money conviction. It will be done without bail, ignoring his appeal of the conviction. Then, like Epstein, Trump does not hang himself. /sarc.

The BBC used to be respected when they were impartial and gave us the news.
Today, the BBC and most media outlets have become a very tight-knit set of Left-wing liberals who feel the power given them to transmit information means they can give their personal opinions and try to shape (alter, modify, influence and distort) the spoon fed news we get.
Turn them off and revoke viewership.

I do not call them DemonKKKrats for nothing. The KKK part of it, is the connection to the nullification of the Constitution and the Confederacy’s effort to kill thousands to do it.

New Lord Haw Haw. But, he is right about the warning that Trump is a target. Tucker said that as well. The MSM is filled with words almost as bad in the USA. They have worked doubletime to make Trump into the Devil and anyone who takes him out will be a “hero” of the nation and world. A savior to stop a new Hitler and save millions of lives.
What can we the People do? Everything. The great reset will be forced upon us. Remember—we are the true rulers. It says so on that piece of paper—the Constitution. Too many have gotten a free ride. The Tree of Liberty may need some watering.

Did he get a lifetime suspension from Twitter X? I sure did for something far far less, they claimed I wished harm on someone, which I didn’t, and said it was a violation of X’s terms of service.

I appealed it and they said no dice, “I violated their TOS”, and this was shortly after Musk took over. I’m convinced they just wanted to get rid of me because I was constantly standing up to the leftist weasel shitbags there.

What this guy said far exceeds what I was accused of, so I’d really like to know if X is banning people on the left who wish for people to be murdered, because I didn’t even come close to saying something as vile as that. According to their TOS that sure is wishing harm on someone, now isn’t it?

Let’s set the record straight. The CSA didn’t kill the US Constitution. They left the Union. The Union still had a Constitution (that the Lincoln ignored most of the time in office ).
