The way that it works, everyone else is likely gather behind the strongest opponent to the LePen candidate - communist, socialists, “conservative” to beat the real conservative. Since the communists aren’t likely to back whatever the Gaullist are calling themselves these days, and the Gaullists aren’t likely to back the communists, the Socialists should be in pretty good shape.
So if the LePen candidate got 49%, the strongest other candidate stays in, everyone else bails, and the big happy family works together against the right candidate.
From what I’ve seen, about 300 of the 577 seats are still up for grabs and subject to this cooperation by team big government.

The runoff election is next Sunday, between the strongest performers for each seat where nobody got a majority.
It’s now between the rightist Le Pen, and the hard left, with Macron’s “centrists” being routed.
Next Sunday will be a referendum between people who want the native French replaced, and Le Pen. No viable in-between.
France has a Deep State uniparty like we do. They have people who just pretend to be right or left, but are all owned by the globalists. But they will all unite against any outsider. Perhaps the French are starting to realize that.
