That is an exact quote. That is the moment many people in the country realized what the rest of us already knew. Joe Biden is not up to the job. This is why he wasn't allowed to conduct a real press conference. This is why he needs notecards in every meeting with foreign leaders. This is why the Muppet does all the talking for him. Right away you knew something was wrong with Biden- the staccato cadence, trying to spit out the memorized talking points while they remained in his head, the confusion, the blank stare. It was all downhill. There was no upside.
As I watched I saw it coming. He hinted at it first and then fell right into it. He repeated the lie about Charlottesville- about Trump praising neo-Nazis. I wrote about this seven years ago. The NY Times and Politifact lied about it then and maintained that lie until just recently. Finally, Politifact, after seven years, properly branded the story as false. Biden's handlers had to have known this and had to have told Biden not to say it. and still he went there.
He was wrong about Roe vs Wade. Roe was always bad law, and Ruth Bader Ginsburg agreed with that.
Biden asserted that those voting for Trump were voting against democracy. That would be at least half the country- voting against democracy?
This was inexplicable

When Biden said that Trump had "the morals of an alley cat" I would have responded "An alley cat? Your own daughter said you molested her. Care to address that?" I think Biden would have melted down on the spot.
But this was the moment it was over.

We all worried how the Great Medicare War would end.
President Trumps’s expression and subsequent reaction was great.
Well, you said “effectively”, so in a way you are saying that Trump “might” do that.
Id love that, but honestly it is ultimately the purview of Congress, and in any case, it should be done in a gradual fashion. It can’t simply be turned off. That would be destabilizing. The costs likewise would have to be progressively turned off. All this includes the fact of whether something is fair to those who’ve been affected by these things. SS, e,g., should be stopped but need to be gradual including that those who paid in all their lives need to get their money back.
I used the word "effectively", because income taxes was hinted out, in the past 2 weeks (to GOP lawmakers on using Tariff's to abolish income taxes). Separately, he referred to taxes on tips going away, however I'll note that if one removes income taxes, that would include tips. IMHO, the tips things was said to grab a news cycle or two to project the whole process of moving towards a national sales tax replacement.
As for the difficulty of doing all this with CON-gress, hold DJT's beer: The fiat dollar is being replaced with asset-backed, right before our very eyes in realtime. All these changes and more go with this... like, inheritance taxes going away too.

The question is will they threaten Joe with his own crimes if he does not agree to resign or drop from the race. The Hur tapes could be released, or the money laundering and bribes could come out in the Hunter Tax evasion case, or the deep state could have other evidence they could threaten to release. The deep state does not want things to become public, but they want Biden out. They don’t want to further damage the democrat party with the truth, but they will threaten Biden with releasing the truth. This is the struggle going on now up until the Democrat convention.
Tapper and Bash did what they were told to do. Sit back and let it happen.
When Joe said “We Beat Medicare”, Jake Tapper immediately cut off Biden before he could say anything further, and went over to Donald Trump. You could almost hear Tapper say to himself “Oh S***!!!” when he realized what Bide had said, and knew he had to cut away from him as quickly as possible.
I think they gave him a placebo this time to get the incoherent mouth agape clueless result they ultimately got. They want him gone.
If Ozzy debates Biden who will get to bite the head off the bat this time?

The fed income tax is an Amendment, unfortunately. You have to repeal it.
And we need to stop relying on (tyrannical) E.O.s to do everything. Which will end with the next pres who doesn’t like them.

They did a “good job” because CNN is in the camp of ‘replace Biden”, so naturally they weren’t going to fall over themselves with assistance for Joe and were even a tad deferential to President Trump.

He was jabbering about Medicare and Covid. He mixed it up.
He probably intended to say “we beat Covid.” A more alert person would have immediately realized that he had said the wrong word and added “I mean Covid.” But that whole answer was jumbling and hard to follow.
