I used the word "effectively", because income taxes was hinted out, in the past 2 weeks (to GOP lawmakers on using Tariff's to abolish income taxes). Separately, he referred to taxes on tips going away, however I'll note that if one removes income taxes, that would include tips. IMHO, the tips things was said to grab a news cycle or two to project the whole process of moving towards a national sales tax replacement.
As for the difficulty of doing all this with CON-gress, hold DJT's beer: The fiat dollar is being replaced with asset-backed, right before our very eyes in realtime. All these changes and more go with this... like, inheritance taxes going away too.
The fed income tax is an Amendment, unfortunately. You have to repeal it.
And we need to stop relying on (tyrannical) E.O.s to do everything. Which will end with the next pres who doesn’t like them.
