But I can tell you this: most average Americans outside our amen-corner echo chamber silo who don’t like a quitter, why that would probably ruin his chances for election right there, at least it would give incredible fodder to the Sleepy campaign to call him a “chicken” and they will be endlessly on that narrative til kingdom come … No, no backing out now, he signed on the dotted line and if he retreats now he’s going to look very cowardly by most Americans no matter how he explains it away. That’s what the majority of my relatives and friends would think.

We wish it! For as long as I can remember, presidential level debates started no earlier than September. They’re up to something here, and the ONLY thing that I can think of is that want Biden to flop, and then have someone else take his place during the Convention (like Newsom, Skunk Cabbage, or Michelle), while they can still get that name on November ballots.
